Five-day weekend FTW!
It's finally starting to feel like Christmas! The weather has actually gotten cold for once and I have the next five days off from work. Naturally I'll have to spend some of them cleaning, baking, and Dealing With Relatives, but I should still have time for some of my favourite holiday traditions:
~Movie marathon! I always watch Love Actually at Christmas, and this year I think I'll follow it up with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe as that's the only snow I'm likely to see! Might throw in a bit of Conagher as well since I've been craving a good Western. Anybody have any other good holiday movie recommendations?
~Football! I see not much is going the way I wanted it to today, but I'll still be down the pub tomorrow and on Boxing Day hoping for six points for Chelsea. Zola knows Blackburn owe us, and Aston Villa need to pay for the three penalties the Blues have been denied in recent visits to Villa Park. Here's to Lamps joining the 100 club!
Is anybody else doing anything special to celebrate the festive season? Whatever you're all up to, I hope you have lovely holidays with plenty of chocolate and mulled cider and other goodness!

ETA: This Leona girl can sing a bit, can't she? Has anyone bought her debut album? Is it worth getting, or would it be better to wait for Best Kept Secret and more original songs?
