...and anyone who says differently is selling something. :P
Yesterday morning I rode two miles on the stationary bike, did some half-ass pilates and leg lifts, and did maybe twenty bicep curls with free weights. Then in the evening I went walking for half an hour and did fifteen minutes on my cheapo lateral thigh trainer thingy during Heroes. All in all I think I exercised for a total of ninety minutes. Not exactly the Boston Marathon, right?
That's what I thought, but this morning I'm struggling to hold my pencil. Pathetic, much? Clearly I so lose at this whole getting fit thing!
Luckily I'm able to cope by cramming down lovely English biscuits and a mug of PG Tips tea, doubtless replacing all the calories I may have managed to burn yesterday. Whatever--I may be developing a ghetto booty that would put J-Lo to shame, but I will die happy!
In conclusion...tea, dammit!
