It's done, then.

I don't speak enough languages to adequately swear in this situation. Even JT's tried and true method of effing and blinding isn't cutting it for me. Frak.

I support Chelsea and I will continue to do so, because the club is bigger than any one person. Yet that doesn't mean I have to support every decision the so-called higher ups make. I honestly believe we have just made two enormous mistakes that will cost us in more than financial terms. If (when?) these deals come back to bite us in the butt I will be severely upset, but I will also think that we deserve it.

As for Mr. Tweedy himself, I've never bashed my own players and I don't plan to start now. But I'm not going to be happy to see him and I'm sure as hell not going to cheer for him. He's got to earn that; he can start by keeping his head down, his mouth shut, and sweating blood in the reserves. When it comes out blue, then maybe I'll reconsider my position.

One more thing. If McLaren starts Ashley ahead of Bridgey tomorrow I will vomit. Then I will lose my last remaining shred of hope for the success of his managerial regime. As far as I know, Ashley has played one reserve match since the World Cup, whereas Bridgey has given three consecutive brilliant performances in competitive matches. Even ignoring the mental issue of the last-minute transfer distractions, what sane person would choose Ash over Wayne right now?

Oh, right. I feel the chunks rising in my throat already...

england, football, rage omg, bridgey: the force is strong with this 1, chelsea
