It is so good to be back! I missed my Livejournal so much - and all of my friends! :) Anyway, this is going to be a really long "list" post of the major events that have happened, stating with when we packed up and hauled ass to get into our house before school started.

Our moving company we chose was Two Men and a Truck. We thought they seemed reliable, and the price was decent. The morning that they came, my mom and I were already in our new house and my dad was up there, getting ready to drive down the truck that we had rented and packed the night before. So he supervised as he got ready to drive down here. Everything seemed fine so he left and let them do their thing. Well, a few hours later we get a call on my mom's cell phone from my dad saying that his parking brake didn't work so he couldn't stop the truck! Of course my mom and I panicked, and we could tell my dad was on edge as well. He had already called a service man to come to our house and help us. So he finally got here and he had to park on the curb to stop the truck since the service guys weren't there yet. My mom and I started to get some boxes, and wouldn't you know there was a leak in the back of the truck so my boxes of games got soaking wet? Words could not describe how pissed off I was at that point. Anyway, so while my dad is on the phone with the insurance people, the three Two Men and a Truck guys get here. My dad has to hang up with the insurance company, after being on hold a non-consecutive hour, to talk to the guys. Well, in short, a redneck, a Jamaican guy, and a ghetto homie scuff up our walls and put a nick in the television stand. Needless to say Ryder and Two Men and a Truck are not possibilities for when I move out.

Next was the hardwood floors. They didn't have a coat on them so we had to get the guys to come back in and put it on while I was at school. My mom brought me back and, since the kitchen and front entrance are hardwood, we had to enter on the screen porch which is all the way at the other end of the house. Now keep in mind that I have a two pound binder and five books on my back. So we arrive inside and the odor of the floor polish its us like, woah! I mean, it was horrible! After checking to make sure the animals weren't dead from hazardous gases, my mom went to get Chinese food from a new place down the road, while I stayed home and played ball with Soph in the enclosed area that had no hardwood. My mom shortly came back and we reluctantly shoved down the Chinese. It was nasty. And I love Chinese food! The next morning the floors were dry so I came down and went to the bathroom. They got the polish all over the walls and baseboards! Even on our new fridge! Of course the fridge wasn't in the bathroom, I went into the kitchen. :P

School. I have never felt so unwelcome in a place as much as I did when I started school three days late. No one talked to me for the entire first day! I had no one to sit with at lunch, as I feared, and I generally looked like a loser. My science and reading teacher, Mrs. Mowry, who is also the cheer coach, told us that if we bought a ribbon for 75 cents that we would get 2 extra points on our science tests. OMG! I was so pissed at her - and then my reading class is the dumbest bunch of kids I've ever met: they get read aloud to every afternoon! And they can't pronounce selfish! We don't get social studies, either, we get Georgia studies. Much more interesting to be restricted to the boundaries of a place I want to know nothing about and having no hope that we'll move on to India next week or something. Not.

The shining light in this whole thing is that my new next-door neighboors, Dan and Andie, are really nice. They have a one year old named Emma nad they have already brought up that they'd like me to babysit! If I got enough moolah, I could finally buy me that Dooney and Bourke purse that I've been wanting for so long. :)

It smells like paint in here.

Some bitch on the Snooty Sims forum just told us all where Bella was - without any spoiler warning! Gahhhh
