(no subject)
Wow, I'm worn out. I was supposed to finish my rough draft of my research paper for tommorow. It's almost done, I'm just too tired to finish it now. I'm waiting to hear who won the election...I'm praying..not gonna say for who, but most of you know who I want to win :). So anyway, we had an interesting weekend. I don't remember what I did Friday...OH yeah, went to the mall w/ Kelli and Adriane. I got my casual wear outfit for the pageant, it's really cute. I still have to get my interview suit. We have our Training Class and Get Acquainted Party on Saturday in Columbia. I'm excited!! Adriane and I are gonna have lots of fun. So, Saturday night Adriane and I went to see "Cats" with Mr. Canady and Rich. That was a lot of fun. It was my first time seeing the show, and I enjoyed it. It's not one of my favorites, but it was a good production, and I really liked the choreography. So then Sunday we went to Broadway, and there weren't too many people in costume, and I had a few people ask me if I was really pregnant LOL. That was funny, and then when we met up with Kraig, Adriane got hit on by a scary spanish guy b/c of her Nurse costume. He walks up holding his heart and is all like "my heart, my heart". Kelli, Kraig, and I were trying not to laugh, and we were all looking away from him hoping he would get the hint and leave. It was scary/funny. So after that we left and went back to my house where Trey and Candace came over and we watched Dawn of the Dead. "She's a twitcher!" haha, anyway, it was fun.
I spent the rest of the weekend getting sponsors for the pageant, and I'm doing pretty good. I had dance tonight, and Ms. Tina showed us our ballet costumes for the recital. They're SOOOO pretty. They're like a tight leotard top in black with white lines down it, it's hard to explain, and then we have a white long tulle skirt, and we're gonna be wearing long black gloves. I can't wait! We choreographed the beginning today and it was pretty good. I think I'm doing pretty good in there for not having too much ballet experience.
So our show is Thurs. night, it's gonna be fun. We get to do the whole Beach Boys medley and dress in 50s outfits. I'm also excited about doing "Squeeze Me In". Nick and Rachel sound really good on it. It's gonna be a busy week, even though I only have 3 school days LOL.
I don't wanna go to bed yet, I wanna find out who our new president is. I really wish I could have voted this time, because this is an election I've actually been involed with and I have a real opinion about, and I think it sucks that I can't vote. I just hope the people who are voting right now are voting for the right reasons for whatever candidate they chose.
