Random thoughts
Ryan defends his thesis in less than a week :) I'd be so nervous if I were him, but he hasn't complained about it at all. He's giving a seminar today on his research. He practiced on me yesterday (it was like an hour long!). I hate giving speeches...I always want them to go well, without the "ums" and "ahs", but Ry had lots of those and his still sounded good. I just need to relax I think.
I'd like to go surprise him at his presentation next week, since it's open to the public, but it might be distracting to have people you know show up.
I gave Ross the tv series "Strangers with Candy" with Amy Sedaris and Stephen Colbert for his birthday, which was yesterday, and we watched some episodes. That show/movie is so fucked up, I love it!!
