I only get sick once a year. But that time is right now. It also happens to be stressful midterm time as well, which sucks but whatever duuuude.
I think I'm going to try quitting some things for the next month or so.
1. Alcohol
2. AIM
3. cigarettes (which I only do socially at this point, which generally means 1-2 on the weekend)
I quit coffee (sort of), having had about 5 or so cups in the last 4 or more weeks, not caffeine though as I still drink caffeinated teas. The trouble spot here is going to be the alcohol. It is the all-time social lubricant but for what it's worth I need to start leveraging more energy towards my ability to crawl out of my skin without drugs and influences. The problem is I like alcohol. Much in the same way I like cigarettes. In their own right they aren't just tools to alter your state, they are mood enhancers and mood creators. I mean that in the sense that it has both an internal and atmospheric way of setting a tone of relaxation or ease. Simply, and as everyone knows, they complement the things you are already doing.
As for AIM...people are mostly away 95% of the time anyways so...what's the point.
