You have no idea how this fic grabbed at my heart. I was so completely, utterly enchanted by the completely realistic world you weaved that when it ended, I felt like crying.
Your portrayal of both Hiccup and Toothless was amazing, but I especially love how you wrote Toothless. He felt so... dragon, if that makes sense.
Really, really spot on.
Guh. This was so incredible. I particularly liked this bit: Toothless had spent 100 years hanging from rocks and sleeping with thousands of dragons that could care less about him. Perhaps spending the next 100 years with one human that cared so much that he'd give his life for him wasn't so bad.

Also, I find it hilarious that I read this midway into the movie! I downloaded it, but y'know, I don't give a damn. I've already spent almost $50 seeing it at the theater, and I have every intention of buying it (regular and blu rey) when it's released. My wallet can't afford another trip to the theater, and frankly, I would go crazy waiting for it to come out on DVD.

I downloaded the torrent from piratebay. The quality is really decent, surprisingly, and the volume is darn good, too. I can send you the link, if ya want. If you don't use torrents, I can compress the file into a ZIP or RAR format and upload it to megaupload (or some upload thingy) and send you a link so you can download it directly?

Yes!! That's the one!!! I find Toothless' body is pretty easy to draw, but it's his FACE that's hard to capture, even though his face is really just those big eyes... It's amazing how hard eyes can be when they're the only things giving a character emotion!
I was having a hard time with Hiccup, but that might be because I wanna capture him perfectly, and that's so hard to do (Well, for me).
