Trying some new techniques. The blue face is Prismacolor marker on acetate, which really helps to preserve the luminescence of the ink, and the board is a jpg I found on Google's image search. I assembled everything in Jasc PaintShop Pro 8, which is an absolutely vile fucking imitation of Photoshop but the only graphics program I really have easy access to. I'm pretty happy with my results and I think I will be doing something similar from here on out.

I've had a couple pads of acetate floating around for about five years and this is really my first time using it. It's really a little embarassing that I have been effectively wasting the materials. It takes ink pretty well, but I think it will take a great deal of practice to get even coverage. I kind of like the splotchy effect though. Next up will be acrylic paint.
