Hi! And welcome! And thank you! I'm really looking forward to this - I love all these ladies and can't wait to see what you come up with.
Generally, I love, love, love female friendship in all its forms, whether it's hanging out doing not much of anything or saving the world. I love happy-ish endings - where things might not be perfect, but they're good enough - or just plain old happily-ever-after (with an exception for Racetrack). Graphic sex and violence isn't really my thing but I'm totally fine with some references/brief descriptions/what have you. I'm not a huge fan of AUs where the background world becomes entirely different, because one of the things I love about all my canons is that world. So coffee shop AUs etc aren't really my thing, but what-ifs or slightly altered worlds like we saw in SG-1/the Eureka timeline shift are awesome and interesting.
As I understand it, rarewomen matching works on a single character basis, so please don't feel like you have to include anyone other than whoever you matched on. I've mentioned ships in a few places just because I'd rather not see them broken up or the character in question paired with someone else but please don't feel you have to write ship fic. Gen is awesome, and all of these fandoms offer so many opportunities for it because there's so much to say about these women and their worlds.

I requested 'any' for this series because I really would like to see anyone, in any combination. There is not enough fic for this show. Shipwise, I'm a Krista/Bobby girl, and I'm intrigued by the idea of Shontal/Astrid (I blame the helicopter) but like I said before, gen is totally awesome.
From my optional details:
One or all of these ladies saving the day; girls' night out (or in); Astrid flying the helicopter; Krista's childhood at Arctic Air or her relationship with Bobby; Loreen recovering from the plane crash; Shontal's career in the USAF and why she chose Yellowknife; Hailey figuring out how to live without (or with) Kirby.
Those are just some quick ideas or starting points. I love this show to a ridiculous extent, and everybody is awesome. I'd love to see Astrid forced beyond her comfort zone (maybe learning to fly "that impossible machine" aka the helicopter, or having to take command on a flight when her co-pilot is injured or something) or dealing with whatever her thing is with Dev. I also love the idea of her and Krista developing a real friendship and there's hints of that from time to time - what do they talk about at home in the evenings, or over breakfast?
I am really sad that Shontal has apparently left, so tell me about her (if you want!). What was her life like in the USAF? What really brought her to Yellowknife? What was she thinking about for those three months between her decision not to fly the rescue mission in Drop in For Lunch and her conversation with Mel in Wildfire?
How does Hailey feel about her world? What dreams does she have that she doesn't tell anyone about? I loved her in Drop in For Lunch - while she looked to Bobby for leadership she also seemed really competent and in control after she got over the initial shock. What was she doing while Mel and Loreen were away? Does she want to work in cargo at Arctic Air forever?
I love Loreen more than I ever expected. Competent, snarky, warm, caring - tell me about her. What brought to her to Arctic Air? Why did she come back after the crash, and why did she work for an airline in the first place if she's afraid of flying? I'd love to see something with her and Caitlin, or just Loreen and Mel snarking at each other.
And Krista. Krista. "No, actually, I'm pissed off." What was it like growing up with Mel for a father? What did she and Bobby get up to as kids, and how did that lead them to where they are now? I feel like she's afraid of something - afraid of rejection, afraid of being hurt - I'd love to see a fic about what she's afraid of, and why, and how she moves past that, whether it's in terms of her relationship with Bobby or just generally. What's she holding back? (And why is she so awesome?)
I would love fic for these two either separately or together. Their relationship wasn't really explored in canon - they always seemed to like each other as much as you can considering the difference between their ages and where they were at in life, but obviously by the end of the series they're family, so fic dealing with that would be great.
Otherwise, if you'd rather only write one of them, I'd love to see Zoe settling into life in Eureka and figuring out who she is or who she can be, or Zoe in the future once she's graduated. Does she return to Eureka to live, or go somewhere else?
For Allison, the thing that jars me most about the timeline switch (as much as I loved it overall) was that they never showed her dealing with the loss of the Kevin she left behind. Even assuming that everything about Jenna was exactly the same in the new timeline, Kevin definitely wasn't. The show focused on her getting to know this different Kevin, but surely she must have grieved the one she left behind. I'd love to see something exploring that idea. Otherwise, what was her daily life really like at any point in canon? Does she miss being head of GD? How did her feelings for Jack change over time? Anything with Allison and/or Zoe would be awesome.
My only ships are Allison/Jack (and Jo/Zane should that be an issue).
Racetrack is, and will always be, my favourite BSG character. I'd love to see some exploration of her around Gaeta's mutiny and her role in it, or backstory - why did she join the Fleet? How did she deal with the aftermath of the initial attacks? I'd also love to see some fic about her as a pilot or within the air group - her relationship with the other pilots, being thrust into leadership positions at times, all those missions that went wrong.
Feel free to include anyone you want. I don't really have a Racetrack ship, but can see her having an angsty and screwed up relationship with Kat.
Kate and/or Abby would be awesome. I'd love to see the two of them saving the day together while Magnus and the boys are off doing something else. Backstory for either of them would be great - tell me about Kate's life before the Sanctuary, or about what brought Abby to the Sanctuary that day - what did she know or suspect about what went on there? I don't think Abby's secretly an evil mastermind (and having typed that out, I think that would actually make a great plot, so, you know, if that's inspirational then go for it) but I do think there may well have been more going on than what we saw, at least initially.
Otherwise, I'd be interested in post-series fic as well. How does the Sanctuary's move to Hollow Earth affect either or both of them? Does Abby's relationship with Will survive everything (I love Abby and don't particularly care either way about Will, so feel free to do whatever you want with it as long as it doesn't involve Abby cheating)? How has Kate's relationship with Helen changed since she went to Hollow Earth in the first place? And what's Kate really doing there, anyway?

These two have always fascinated me. How did Carolyn end up at the SGC - it's implied that Jack had something to do with it, but why her specifically? What had her career/life been like up to that point, and how did she feel about being thrown in at the deep end? What's her daily life like, and how does she cope with the many and inevitable tragedies of life at the SGC?
And Cassie - we get these tantalising bits of her life, but nothing really concrete. I'd love to see fic about Cassie as a child on Hanka, or trying to get her head around life on Earth and keep up with her classmates. Does she feel like she belongs on Earth, or is she just pretending? How does she reconcile her two worlds?
I have no ships for Cassie; I have a soft spot for Carolyn/Cam if that's the direction you'd like to go in.
