Hm...

Me and my mom went to this little treasure for my birthday and found it delightful! My mom had the buffet with was serve on porcelain platters and had everything from Nalo green and Pita with various dips and sauces to Brazed Beef, tuna and pork. With a little bit of everything and everything so well cooked you are more than full after just one plate, for about $16, it completely worth it! With it also came a small dim sum sampler with mini spring roll, bao and wonton.

As for myself I had the seared ahi, normally I'm VERY careful about cooked ahi having had one too many over cooked, but On a chance I gave it a try...
It was INCREDIBLE! The outside was crispy from the peppery rub while the inside still had its buttery sashimi like texture. It came with three dipping sauces, a tangy sun dried tomatoes, a perfectly salty katamala olive and a wonderful almost sweet pesto. There were also a pineapple salsa, white rice, a tomatoes salsa and limu seaweed for looks (Ok I chose not to eat it, limu is not my thing.)

For drink my mom had the Plantation Sweet Tea, she was it was very good. While I had a Lava Flow, the flavor was great and it was served with VERY good fresh fruit but I could have done with more rum. ^_~.

Dessert was a flourless chocolate souffle with fresh fruit that almost out shined the fluffy creamy decadence of the chocolate cloud.

What a great fucking way to start the day... For the later half with more drinks stay tuned.

And on a slightly geeky plus,  Daniel Dae Kim (aka Jin Kwon) from Hawaii's own Lost was there having lunch. Without my knowing my mother snuck over and asked if he would come say hello for my birthday. Sneaking up on me I looked to my right and there he was introducing himself. He was extremely kind and gracious wishing me a happy birthday and taking a picture.
