I think the other problem is that the next episode isn't until January, so right now we're stuck with no resolution. Nothing saying "and then the rapists get what's coming to them." Sure it's implied that something like that will happen, but that's not as satisfying as actually knowing it will happen.

One wonders what happened to the other women on board. Salon had a good piece a few months ago saying that one of the great things about BG was how integrated the military was. I suppose the implication of the season finale is that this is not merely because of their society, but because the Galactica is run by people who want the ship to work that way. If the leadership doesn't care about what happens, it's harder to assume that everyone else will. Although it's not quite the same, look at my last job. Some of the incredibly inappropriate actions (like watching streaming video porn) were happening with the assistant branch manager initiating them. So of course everyone else thought all the other inappropriate stuff was appropriate. Common sense should've told them otherwise, but you combine a lack of common sense with a lack of leadership showing you the way and people will misbehave. On Pegasus that was just taken to an extreme.
