Indeed. I think she sees a spark in Ianto that maybe Dillon doesn't have, but she does tell him to come back when he's grown up more.
The only thing that bothers me is that if Jack doesn't remember anything when he comes back from death... well, did he actually kill himself to say goodbye? If he doesn't believe you can be reunited in death, it seems maybe he simply committed suicide after Ianto died. And he won't remember saying goodbye when he wakes up. And damn, but I think I just made the story darker.
I left that ambiguous. Parry doesn't think people are supposed to remember, but Ianto asks him if he could, if he would keep on trying. That's the kind of person Ianto would fall in love with, someone who would never give up even if that person had no certain answers. He wants someone who will be able to love him as intensely as he'll love him/her.

I do (shame on me). Read anything by nightanddaze. I don't read PWP generally because I want plot, and so these stories a nice mix of emotion, story, and sex. *nods* Except for maybe this one. It's just really hot.
