I'm doing a research paper for a psychology class and found something very ... interesting, from a certain perspective.
It sounds like something out of a really, really nerdy bondage dungeon ;)
A two-point aesthesiometer, a von Frey aesthesiometer, and a blindfold were used. A thumb-index finger opposite device was also used. It consisted of various pound-test monofilament fishing lines affixed to, and freely hanging from, a wire stand. Small, medium, and large latex examination gloves were used.
