Mae and Copeland owned.
Last night was Mae & Copeland. As soon as everyone got inside they rushed to the merch area like they were giving out free stuff instead of evreyone buying it.I picked up my goodies for me and Marc() Then while everyone was buying merch SLOW COMING DAY played and I personally think they are horrible. I made my way up to the semi front on the right side (so I could get a good spot for copeland and mae) and a band by the name of " THE WORKING TITLE" played. Wow, I was surprised on how much these guys ruled..they are amazing in my opinion! Then there they were..COPELAND came up and was absoooooollluuutteelllly breathtaking.They sounded exactly like they do on their cd! I called joanna on my cell because she wanted to hear them play brightest and I told her I would and I did.. copeland gets ALL the lady's...MAE came up and they played for like an hour and a half! Oh man they almost played there whole freaking CD, it went on FOREVER! But before they played the singer and the pianist looked like they were soo pissed and they wanted to kill someone! But then they put on happy faces like this one And I talked to the drummer who did the merch and hes a really awesome guy! I love him! But all in all Maes performance wasn't what I had anticipated it to be, while they were up there the singer said something about there purpose but failed to mention living for christ so that kinda bummed me. I would of thought they would mention something about that or preach to the audience while tuning or something, most of the lost souls in the audience would of payed attention I think.. ..oh well?I saw Katy(so nice to see her!) and said hi! And I saw kellie and Megan but when I was gonna say hi they like disappeared in the crowd. next time guys. Then after the show we were on our way home and Tyson said he wanted to go check out this scary place so he could scare his junior highers(he's the pastor for middle schoolers)so we get there and it turned out to be" The 420 Bowl"(all you skater boys should be familiar with that hot skating spot) which I have been to once before. Here we are at this abandoned pool house thats boarded up and totally texas chainsaw massacre looking. It was creepy and Tyson wanted us to come in with him and check it out. So after much much begging by Tyson we head up to it and slowly slowly walk in.. WHen you enter there is a little room straight ahead of you and you have to face it then turn right into the abandoned empty pool room well since I have been there before I decided to go right after Tyson. SO Im slowly walking in pitchblack empty scary as crap building and all of a sudden I HEAR A CHAINSAW START UP AND SEE A BRIGHT LIGHT TURN ON(flashlight)!!!!! So what do I do? I ran without even thinking twice about it.I ran into the pool room and tripped and fell in the empty graffitti'd 13ft pool and stumbled along to the end and kinda looked behind me and I hear the chainsaw turn off and hear Tyson laughing at me Josh and Dan! Ben(my youth pastor) and Bryan( my good buddy) showed up early and hid in that little dark room I told you about.. They got there like at 11 30 PM with there chainsaw and just stayed there till me, Tyson, Dan and Josh got there. Yeah Tyson, Ben and Bryan had been planning it since wedensday I guess.Well, It certainly scared the crap out of me(good job fellas) because I was ahead of everyone and got it the worst! Hahahah I laughed so hard. It hurt when I fell in the pool though(its freaking like 6ft deep where I fell in) I cut up my elbow bad too! I have to admit, it was very very well planned out and executed..My worst fear is what exactly happened, entering an old abandoned, tore up, messed up, building in the middle of the night,that smells like satan and getting chased by a HUGE(bens a big guy) man with a chainsaw! Yep, deffinately got the adrenaline pumping on that one. So on the way to Tysons house he told me and Josh how he had been planning it for a little while and all that..spent the night at Tysons and hung out then today we had worship band practice and created our very own and very emo worship song. WE LIKE IT. Yep kid's interesting night last night indeed, I'm exhausted from all the crap I've been doing lately. I love you guys!!
