is anyone here an against me! fan?
theyve been one of my favorate band for a couple years now, and i was anticipating their album coming out last week. and what i got was HORRIBLE. i hate using sell-out, perhaps because the term has been broadened to mean if they merely get popular they 'sell out' which is bull crap. cause selling out is changing your music - and that is just what against me! did.
i am so disappointed in them... I have friends who find their new album as a progression. but i think thats shit. i think they s-o-l-d o-u-t. every song sounds the same and the only possible distinction from against me! and bands like rise against is now only his unique voice, which in fact sounds horrible against the same chords in the same melody for 30-somethin songs.
sorry bout this rant,i usually hate when people throw around 'sell out' but this has to be the fist time where i have felt real justification behind it.
part of me wants to cry cause they were that fucking good before.
anyways PLEASE tell me someone her feels for my wrath... please?
