I really miss it. The art community. The buzz of the city, bursting with college artists. The little underground coffee houses and bars. The friends. The learning. The collaborative conciousness of my peers on projects. The professors. The weather. The sights, sounds and smells. Being 22 again.
All this is triggered by one of the founding Professors of the Sequential Art Department, 0one of my mentors, Bob Pendarvis, being fired and arrested. Not sure why yet.
Coupled with the death of fellow Sequential Art alum Jeremy Mullins over the weekend, it has me really missing that time in my life.
Nostalgia, thou art a powerful bitch....
