C'est la vie?
It is amazing how quickly things can change.
I have, in the course of three days, lost two of my best friends, and as of half an hour ago seemingly lost my band as well.
I have tried not to panic and to only remain clear-minded.
I am twenty years-old.
Life is transient.
I will always meet and lose friends, and with every lost one to such crude endings as this I only learn to appreciate more and more the close friends I have who are honest, loyal, intelligent, compassionate and truly beautiful people.
I will always meet and lose musicians- moreso perhaps than friends what with the level of fickleness present in most artistic people. I have a lot to learn about music as I can see from the four months with these fellows, and will only keep playing and keep getting better until I am ready to make something truly valid and worthwhile.
Until then, I have a four-track given to me by somebody who once believed in me and I will never forget that when I think to give up and retreat within myself forever more.
