okie i couldn't stand it anymore and finally bought my instant camera. i was initially eyeing the polaroid spectra but decided against it when i saw the price of the film. seriously, paying like USD 3 for one shot is way too expensive. anyway since i didn't want to get one of those fuji instant ones (they seriously need to put in more effort on their product design), i decided on the diana f+ with the instant back.
i saw dot's one and i knew i had to get one. while i already have the diana mini, i've rationalized that it isn't really a waste to buy the diana f+ because while the diana f+ has the 35mm back, i can't use them all at once. hence the mini comes in handy because it's meant to take the 35mm anyway. so i can decide on instant or 35mm anytime i want. marvellous.
so i had all the stuff shipped to the apartment. amazon prices are way better than getting from the website direct. thought i could try taking an instant shot of my famously cute duck, but i don't have the batteries!! not the usual AAs and i'm too lazy to crawl across the road to the duane reade. so i'll just do that tomorrow. i'm thinking of bringing it to the office on my last day or last week and take instant shots with people. okie that's still quite far ahead, long day awaits tomorrow.
