First, thanks claireyfairy1 for the card!! First christmas card this year (wasn't it the same last year?), and very elegant, too.
Yes, postage is a bummer, but mail makes people happy! :)
Second, finally getting something like a holiday spirit. Had some friends over for mulled wine yesterday (omg, nearly wrote mullet wine, and how bizarre would that be??), had fun, baby was adorable and adored, a very good friend announced her being pregnant (and how cool will this be having another child nearly the same age as ours and liking his or her parents for themselves, not only because they happen to be the providers of a convenient play partner?) (omg, the things you start to consider once you have a child...), and actually some last minute gifts prepared. And enough food bought for the holidays.
Third, vo_xmas! Even though I don't know when to read all the stories since I start working again (on a very small scale) right after christmas, but it's great to know they are there.
