drawing churches is rather uninspiring.
it's been slightly traumatic around here...
last night in studio, we were doing preformance art. things were good and happy for a while. zach gave us all puzzle pieces and we had to put them together, and then i did mine where i hugged everyone (my teacher really liked it too. it was sweet) and then the next girl got up and she proceeded to drink half a bottle of 55% alcohol and then cut three lines into her wrist with ink on the blade so that it would tattoo. ummmm yeah. that was kind of a mood killer, especially given that she then passed out in the corner and was puking. my teacher was not especially helpful and the entire class was freaking out and it was not cool. NOT COOL. it's ok for artists to sew their lips together in galleries or whatever for performance art, but keep it out of the damn classroom. and she lives in my building so i had to call our res life manager matt (who is fabulous) and it was really really traumatizing and i couldnt sleep til 5 and then i got up at 7 and now i have to go to class.
AHHHHHHH
we best be doing figure drawing today. i need to unwind.
