So yesterday was one of those few productive days spent in good company. Anna and I went down to Jien's place at 8am (I reached at 8.40am - blame it on the cab driver) for a group project and spent a good 9 hours seated at the dining table pounding out words, referring to various sources, and eating well amidst it all. I don't understand how Jien remains so skinny with a maid who cooks so well! Hmmm, so after Anna left I tried to start on my Film essay proper but ended up napping for a bit. Typical.
Highlight of the night: St Nicks' 24hr Homecoming Marathon!
Charm and I did quite well I'd like to think. We were on the track from 11.40pm to 2.15am, running for a good hour and a half and brisk-walking for another 65 mins. Met lots of old girls, caught up with them, had the trackers (Sondra, Candice, Shauna, Shuwei, Amanda, Suiying, Estee etc etc) cheering us on, and laughing at our own pseudo-sportiness. :) 'Twas all in good fun. I couldn't bear to take any photos because we looked so ghastly glistening with sweat...
Charm and I spent most of the walk catching up and continuing the conversation at McCafe afterwards. I've missed her so much and we have so much planned for the summer holiday.
Well I basically slept from 5am to 5pm after reaching home completely sleeping through the funfair today. At least I had my fair share of fun last night. I'm aching all over but it's an invigorating sort of pain, and I'm determined to continue this wild foray into regular exercise again...
