*hears the news about the twins and frets*

*and frets and frets and frets*

*frets a little bit more for added panache*

*vaguely wonders if being a boy means you have to worry as much as Cáno*

*goes to find heris sister brother*

We've got a problem. :|

:(

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It's just she was really nice and pretty and it just sort of happened and it didn't mean anything except it did and I thought about you the whole time.

*nods slowly* This is bigger than shopping. ((*gasphorrorshock*))

*sits back and enters a state of deep contemplation and concern*
*which we can safely say has never happened before*

Until now, our position in this family has been based on two things. We are the only twins. This is a novelty factor. And we are (or were) very cute.

A problem has arisen. We are no longer cute. I believe you will concur. And, as of last night, we are now no longer the only twins.

Our position has been usurped!

*frowns thoughtfully*
*thereby also setting a precedent*

We need to fix this! Like, right now.

*gets up and starts to pace*

Our options, as I see them, are either to kill the usurpers or to become cute again.

Precisely what I was thinking.

*joins herim in heris pacing*

I've considered both our options. Killing the usurpers would be easiest. They're very small and defenseless. Also, we would only need to kill one.

*stops to chew on a nail*

However, they are family. There would be retaliation. Plus we're supposed to love them or something vaguely similar.

So I believe becoming cute again is our best option. We can only do this by becoming girls again. This would increase our value as we would still be the only girl twins.

What do you think?

*stops*

*considers*

Well. I think we are in concurrence. I, for one, would prefer to be a girl. Cáno's robes are all very well but they are totally the wrong colouring for us. Also, if we tried anything, Caranthire would, in fact, kill us, and judging from Námo's erratic behaviour of late, there is no guarantee that we would come back cute or, dare I say it, twins.

So the question remains: How do we become girls again?

With Ada suing the Valar, we will be hard pressed to find someone to help us. Perhaps we could go to Este and cry like little girls. Namo and Irmo are straight out, as they would probably turn us into some animal.

That is a very shrewd question, Pityo.

Este might help. She has, after all, been helping Nelyo rather successfully of late. Personally, I'd be more inclined to seek the aid of an NPC-Vala.

I have indeed put a bit of thought into this, Telvo. I must say your observations are incredibly brilliant.

Indeed she has. Though your suggestion of an NPC-Vala is quite brilliant. Who precisely? I don't believe there are any NPC Valar.

Why, thank you.

Valar, Valar, Valar. Well, there is Tulkas but, frankly, I don't think he has the finesse necessary for such a job. We might ask Varda. She is not an NPC but it seems that her mun is online at present.

Indeed, Varda would seem to be an admirable choice. She is the most level-headed of all, and is one of the more powerful.

We can only hope that she can be torn away from the stars for long enough.

How shall we approach her? Do you think something tasteful yet elegant off the just-in rack from FinMacy's would work to soften her?
