loving gaze and let go of my hand
sending me stumbling back into shadows.
i screamed your name as long
arms enveloped me, choking
my words, pulling me into darkness.
never turning, never flinching
you left and continued walking
kept on walking towards the light
i feel hard and the earth beneath me shattered
into a million pieces...heart beat stopped
still inside a cold chest pale as moonlight
come back and find me lying
empty on the ground, drained of life
