All right, I'm a little bit evil, and I don't even know Max, but saying, "I got Max in the end" would have been darkly humorous and quite slashy!

Man, four is the best age. If I could regress to an age, I'd choose four.

Think about it. You're old enough to not need diapers, and you can pretty much feed yourself, but you have no responsibilities! Four's perfect!

We could build a whack-a-mole box, and let him be the mole. Have nerf bats and such. He'd probably like that! (Right up until someone managed to whack him, at least.)
