In but a month we will be celebrating Master Bruce's birthday, though it gives me pause to use such a term. He has not allowed himself to celebrate many things since that tragic day in June. Still, one has hope that this year he shall attend his charity ball from start to finish, with no surreptitious departures. One also realizes that extraordinary measures must be taken to ensure such a miracle.

The Lord God knows my prayer, and perhaps this year His answer will be in the affirmative.
