Hey Hey.
I really wish I updated this thing more often, I am going to make more of an effort (or so I say...). Marc came to visit me this weekend, thank god! I was really missing him and needed a break from reality. He took off work on Friday and was able to come visit on Thursday night. We watched a REALLY strange Adam Sandler movie, which I don't recommend... Not that I can even recall the name of it to warn you! Then on Friday we just relaxed, Marc visited some friends, and we went to dinner (at Five Guys) and a movie (Drag Me to Hell). Dinner was delicious but it will definitely be a while before I can down another cheese burger. Drag me to hell was frightening yet hilarious at the same time, go see it! Then, we awoke very early on Saturday to head to Universal and Islands of Adventure with Marc's bro and sis (in law) and had one of the best days ever! First we headed to Universal and Twister was our first stop. (PS: Marc's friend got us tickets for ((FREE)) and his other friend got us fast passes to both parks so we were GOLDEN!) I tried really hard to psych myself up to go on the Mummy, but I just couldn't! I would have needed a few more rides after Twister and then I am sure I could have done it, but I didn't want to slow the group down- so I was their personal locker instead :) The new Simpsons ride was AMAZING, and I loved it so much! I think that is going to take ET's number one spot in my theme park heart. After hours and hours in Universal, we ventured over to the Islands of Adventure! This is not my favorite park bc there are so many rides that I am too afraid to go on (Hulk, Dragons, Jurassic Park), but the company made it great. And being a personal locker, is actually a very important job! A job that I have come to love, because tired little me gets to rest and do what I love to do... take pictures! After Islands we went to...........the Whopper Bar (YUCK!). I could not stand to eat another cheese burger at that very moment so I just watched. Then we headed straight into Land of the Lost at City Walk which was definitely not my favorite movie of all time, and I probably would have liked to have gotten lost in any other movie in the land of City Walk. Maybe it was because I was extremely tired, or maybe it was because the story line SUCKED, but I do not recommend it. However, there were a few humorous parts. After the movie, we headed to dinner at Margaritaville which was really fun! Shelley was working and worked her magic for us, and we ate dinner and watched the band play. Then we headed home for a well deserved good night slumber... and I can't wait to continue that slumber tonightzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
And now it seems to be back to reality for me. School, school, and more school. I am feeling VERY overwhelmed and burnt out like never before, and I am starting to question my ability to do the best that I can this summer. Oh well, I will find a way.
Later days.
