story time.
so, i was in the process of moving in to a new apartment. i had my old one still, until the 30th of January. and i had my new one already, slowly moving things in. i left the important things at the other apartment until i had a place to put them in the new one. on the 25th of Jan, i go to the old one to pick up a new check book, and my entire apartment was empty. i went to the office and was told that because of a MISUNDERSTANDING, the maintenence men threw ALL OF MY BELONGINGS IN THE DUMPSTER. after tears and a lot of bad words that i didn't mean to spit out, we went to the dumpster to take out my belongings. turns out that what they threw in the dumpster WAS pretty much trash, like old shoes, pictures etc. But the things that were super important to me, ie: antique Brownie cameras, 35 mm canon camera, polaroid camera, ALL OF MY PRECIOUS BOOKS, antique luggage, ALL OF MY JEWELRY including pieces i got in italy, a huge box of purses, a big box of scarves, framed picture of paris, etc, were NOT in the dumpster. to make an already long story short, someone stole all that from me. and the apartment was in the wrong, because since sage turned in her key early, they ASSUMED that i was moved out as well. but they were pretty wrong. people anonymously returned my cameras (all 3, THANK GOD), and some of my books, but they still owe me over $3,000. Cool cool cool. assholes. but they ARE paying me the money because they realize that they suck. a lot.
