I really hate the saying "you make me want to be a better person". If someone said that to me, I would be so disappointed that I'm friends with someone or whatever that can't actually take any action. It's like they listened to what I had to say/saw something good from me, but then was like... nah, I'll take the easy way out. But if someone said "you made/make me a better person", I would be thrilled. Understand?
