There's a small outbreak of Ebola going on in the Republic of Congo.
The current local belief is that the hunters died because they went to see a Nganga (witch doctor) for a blessing before they went elephant hunting, and failed to pay him. Hence, the Nganga put out a curse on them.
People sometimes think that my Human Sciences degree was a bit odd to mix things like anthropology and biology, but they really go very well together.
