I've just finished reading Kushiel's Justice, part of Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy Series. I can't believe I spent a whole day doing nothing but reading. I should have been practicing or writing. Still, I think it was worth it. My god, the writing is beautiful, and the story has the perfect balance of high fantasy, romance, and intrigue.
Whenever I'm finished with a good book, movie, or TV show, I find myself in a daze from which I have trouble escaping. I'm in that daze right now.
