WOW, it's an update! Sorry for the lack of recent posts, I got sooooo lazy by the end of the summer, but as of today, my summer is officially over. =(
but it's ok! I started my first day as a freshman at St. Joe's! I really liked it, although I was freaking out all morning before I had to leave. I have a tendency to get super-super nervous before I start something new. However, there was really no need to be nervous! I left my house at about 12 (yesss, no early classes!), and got to the school within 20 minutes. I got there just in time for the 'Welcome Back BBQ' thingy, which basically means FREE FOOD! It was awesome! After about an hour of eating and socializing, I went to my first ever college class. I was a little worried I wouldn't find the room, but it was easy. Intermediate Spanish was my first class..which I'm not entirely thrilled about. There are only two freshman in the class, including myself! I see a lot of confusion in my Spanish speaking future. The only other class I had today was this writing/communications class, during which my teacher wasn't even there for, so we got to leave about an hour early. Talk about an easy day! Tomorrow I have three classes; Freshman seminar, Political Science, and this Philosophy class. aaand, friday i have off! WHoo!!
