alright...last day of high school in detail:
*Waking up at the dreaded hour of 6 wasn't any easier
*Driving to school for the very last time, and i heard this john mayer song:
"Welcome to the real world", she said to me
Condescendingly

Well I never lived the dreams of the prom kings
And the drama queens
I'd like to think the best of me
Is still hiding
Up my sleeve

I just found out there's no such thing as the real world

Grabbing credits
Maybe transfers
They read all the books but they can't find the answers
And all of our parents
They're getting older
I wonder if they've wished for anything better
While in their memories

You will know what all this time was for (i was pretty speechless when i heard this song)
*Full parking lot when i arrived (very unusual)...a lot of seniors had arrived early to have a bbq (don't ask me...)
*Classes resumed as usual..except with out the work. We spent the entire day signing yearbooks, sad goodbye hugs, and all that jazz.
*Fire drill..stood outside for about 25 minutes b/c someone had let mice out in the cafeteria, and set a smoke bomb off (?)
*Saw My Jenny, Christina, Jerlin, Allison, Eleni, Gillian, Beeni in school for the very last time! Have to admit, got a little teary eyed at some points, especially saying goodbye to those ppl going away! I am looking forward to going to SJC with My J(G)illies, though.
*Left school, when i had went down the stairs, the lobby was filled with people, cheering, and blowing fog horns. At that point, all i could think of was "this is it...CHS no more.." it was a pretty scary/exciting feeling.
*Got out to my car, meagan was waiting for me..all smiles. I left the parking lot, honking my horn, to say my very last goodbye to the beloved senior parking lot and of course, to centereach high school.
AAAHH!! IT's so saddd! It honestly doesn't even feel like school's over..i feel as if i had to go back in on monday. September will be scary when i'm not returning to our old school! I'm leaving Meagan behind! OK, OK, i need to calm down..summer is my favorite time of year, i just need to chill and relax...wow, i'm going to be a mess on graduation day!
