Welcome to the first challenge at _aestheticirony, an icontest where you compete for teeny-tiny plaques with teeny-tiny works of art.
C H A L L E N G E # 1 Queer as Folk season 4
Use the above images [click the thumbnail to view the full-sized photo] to create icons that adhere to the following theme:
You must use some sort of text with the word "boy" in it. It can just be the word "boy" [if you want us to do your work for you], or it can be lyrics, a quote from the show, a quote from anything else... as long as the word "boy" is on your icon.
A few rules to follow:
1. Use only one of the provided images per icon.
2. You may post two, but not more, icons per round. Once we've got two from you, we ignore anything else you submit for that round of the contest.
3. The moderators [wherethewind__ and _alantie] will inform you when the challenge is closed. Voting will commence as soon as all entries are organized.
4. When submitting, please post the icon itself, along with a text link to a backup location of the icon.
5. Use of filters, gradients, brushes, and stock photos/textures is permitted. Use of other people's bases and/or icons [or blends] is not.
6. No animated icons, please.
Please post all entries as comments to this entry. All comments are screened. Names will not be released during voting, to reduce the risk of someone winning due to their popularity in their fandom, rather than their talent as an icon maker.
