potter wins
The Goblet of Fire was great. Saw it at midnight.
Since I haven't read the book in almost three years, I can't say what was left out. I do know that the book was long enough for two feature films, but it defiantely hit all the important events. Kind of like Azkaban, it left out details explaining the whys and hows. Beau hasn't read any of the Potter series, but he thoroughly enjoyed the movies. I had to explain a couple things, though:
GoF lightly brushed over the reason the imperius curse upset Longbottom.
There was more than one conversation with Sirius Black in the book, right?
Snape's dark mark was revealed in the book, but not in the movie.
The Malfoys had less intereaction with events in the movie than in the book.
All in all, I was glad to see it. Hope they continue to complete the series.
