Well, it's time for the obligatory Tonys post! First of all, I'd like to congratulate Norbert for his win. You definitely deserved it, sir. Not to mention, your performance was spectactular
Hugh was one of the highlights of the night, with his duet with Aretha Franklin, as well as an incredibly amusing solo number early on in the program. Thank you for making me smile, Mr. Jackman.
All of the musical numbers were brilliant, my personal favorites were La Cage Aux Folles and Spamalot. Interestingly enough, both won. Coincidence?
Filming for the Rent movie has wrapped, and it's an odd time. Going back to a show that I knew so well, and that was so dear to me was amazing. It's sad to have to let go of such an amazing show again. Like Idina said, I'm glad that a fair amount of the cast is in NYC. Even if I don't get in contact with them, it's nice to know that they're there.
