Wake me up when September Ends (again)
Well I haven’t updated in so long….
I don’t really have any excuses I just really have kind of forgotten about my Live Journal.
Today is the first day back at Uni, after holidays filled with work and writing assignments I really don’t feel like I got an actual break! I feel robbed! Oh well I guess that’s just the way life rolls sometimes….
What else to talk about... Hmmm work and uni work and uni is all I basically do these days. The girl I worked with got fired because she had another job at a retailer and she was in breach of her contract, with Christmas hours coming up and the new Sylvia Park finally opened I can safely say we are SCREWED at finding someone to fill in, looks like a lot of extra hours for me Joy! Once again a summer not filled with sunshine but filled with the bright Florence lights of a shopping mall and to top it all off fake air conditioning that dries out your skin!
Nothing much is happening on the social front, just the usual drinks of Friday and Saturday, lot’s of laughs and good times. It’s also my 18th soon and I have no idea what to do for it, everyone seems to be having these really cool parties and splashing out heaps of money. I don’t think turning 18 will change much for me, I mean I do all that stuff now anyways, buy alcohol and Cigarettes go to the pub and clubbing with my 19 year old sisters ID, so really the only thing that will be changing is I’ll be using my own ID instead.
Steve Irwin died I cried and I don’t know why, September 11th anniversary today so everyone is kind of feeling down I don’t know why. I think Green Day sum it up pretty well when they sang the song “Wake Me Up When September Ends” it’s such a bad month for everyone, we all walk around feeling like poo and with the change of season it seems like forever till summer will actually get here. I found out a possible reason as to why this month sucks, it’s the ninth month in the year and the number 9 in numerology is a number for endings… So maybe that’s got something to do with it…
Oh well not much else to say I’ll defiantly update again soonish…
