Hello,
Well today was a very interesting day, a cable snapped at the main power centre so the Auckland CBD and all of my area (Howick & Pakuranga) was out of power from 8:00am till about 1:30pm. The cool thing about it was, I was supposed to be in an exam today but because of the power outage it was postponed till further notice.
So gives me extra time to study!
The worst storms happened all over the country last night, the worst recorded since 1992. So I think it’s safe to say that winter has arrived and I’ll be going on my ski trip very soon! The power cut was extremely annoying no heat, no decent food and no lights, because it was raining non stop there was no natural light! It was pretty cool though; my mates were interviewed on the news saying how cool it was that the exam was cancelled for today. It was funny the exam supervisors had no idea what to do because it’s never happened. So it was good to be apart of history.
Nothing much else has been happening. Just studying for exams and hanging out with friends, it’s been good to see all my mates again. Ahh I almost forgot, the ball!! What can I say it was the ball, a good night! The after ball was alright a bit too gangster for my liking but hey, it was great seeing everyone again.
I’ve got work tomorrow so that should be interesting, and I’ve got camp soon. That’s about it really kind of boring.
