Frustrated
Oooh wee, an entry about RL stuff. How rare. Anyways...
So I had a brilliant plan to get an internship over the summer. It has nothing to do with psychology (at this point, I don't even know if I should still go on with psychology...) but I was determined to find a magazine internship in New York City.
One thing's for sure: it's terribly difficult to find an internship in a fashion magazine, which is what I had originally intended. It was something I always wanted to do and I thought that an internship might be the last chance for me to figure out on whether or not I'd be missing out. I couldn't find one that did not require academic credit over the summer. Which sucked.
But when I finally found an internship for a magazine that I was actually interested in, I came across a tiny problem.
I find that none of my writing pieces can possibly be suitable as a writing sample.
I need three. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I might end up just building up my writing portfolio before I try to find another internship. Because seriously... I can't send out a piece of fan fiction!
Okay, since I'm all ranted out, back to hitting the books. More work as usual.
