Sex toys.
Oh yes.
For someone who doesn't have a very high sex drive, I sure am buying a lot of things. And I think part of the reason I'm enjoying this new obsession is the research. Mmmmm.... Research.... I really enjoy scouring blogs, reading reviews, watching videos, hunting down the best prices.
First off, toy safety. Specifically, the safety of the material they're made out of. This page has loads of info, which I highly recommend reading. Basically, you'll want to look for toys that are made of safe, non-porous materials, like silicone, glass, stainless steel, ceramic, etc. The jelly toys are just not a good idea. They can leach chemicals, they can hold bacteria, and they can't be 100% sanitized. I've decided that, if something is going in or around my lady bits, I want to know that it won't harm me. So I've tossed my shitty/unsafe toys and toys I never use, and I've been bulking up my collection.
Keep in mind that, for the most part, you get what you pay for when it comes to sex toys. Silicone toys aren't cheap, BUT, you can find deals. I bought almost all of my toys on sale. I just search around on various sites until I find one that's having a sale or has a coupon code.
So, what toys do I have?
* Lelo Mona 2. I've had this one the longest out of my current collection. It was the only toy I used before I got my Hitachi.
* Close2You Harmonia. This thing made me squirt like crazy the very first time I used it. Love it!
* Glass g-spot dildo. I can't find it online anymore, so that's a pic of mine. It's absolutely stunning. I want to display it like art. It also makes me squirt, but I do have to be more careful when using it since glass has no give to it, and if I poke the wrong thing it's uncomfortable. And I'm not worried about this thing breaking. I accidentally washed it in the washing machine and it's 100% fine.
Edit: I think this is the same thing that I have, or very similar. Not the site I bought mine from, though.
* Silicone dildo with suction cup. So I'd been wanting something with a suction cup, and before I knew anything about unsafe toys, I bought this. What a massive mistake. I was impressed by how realistic it felt, but it's made of unsafe materials. And the SMELL. Oh my god. The few times I used it I had to use a condom on it, because it was so heavily perfumed I was afraid of what it would do to my bits. And also, it was just too damn big for me! I bought the smallest, the 6", but it was still too long and too wide.
Anyway, so I bought a silicone one, like I should've done in the first place. I still haven't tried the suction cup part. I like the size, not too big or wide, but the texture (veins and whatnot) can be a little uncomfortable at times.
* So that's why I bought a Tantus silk medium. Totally smooth, and on the smaller end of the spectrum, for when I don't want much inside me. Haven't received this one yet.
* Also from Tantus, I got the Flurry O2. Everyone raves about Tantus, so I finally bought a couple things from them. This one has a squishy outer layer, which I wanted to try. This one is on the large end of the spectrum for me. I wouldn't want anything wider, which is why, even though I want it, I didn't buy the similar but bigger Cush O2. Haven't received this one yet either.
* We-Vibe Tango. This is a bullet vibrator, which are usually known for being utter crap, but this one is supposed to be amazing. I can't wait to get it!
* Hitachi Magic Wand. This thing has spoiled me for all other vibrators. To the point where I've had to force myself not to use it. I'm fairly conflicted over it, but in the end, would always recommend it.
* Njoy Pure Wand. This thing is supposed to be the best g-spot toy, ever. I got it in the mail yesterday but haven't used it yet (I told someone I'd wait to use it when they could listen to me). It's stainless steel. It's pretty. But it's heavy, which worries me a bit. I'm dying to try it!
* I forgot this one! The Flutter attachment for the Hitachi. I've only used it a few times. I thought it was going to be crap, but it's actually pretty nice! I can't use it with setting two, though, hurts too much.
* Not a toy, but still awesome if you're a squirter or just messy. The Liberator Fascinator Throe. It's basically a blanket with a waterproof layer. No more covering the floor with towels, I can just use the Throe! I got mine on Amazon so it was cheaper. Hell, use it for picnics, whatever, no one will know it's a sex blanket. ;)
And I think that's all of my toys. One of these days I need to properly organize them!
