Okay, so after the poll and the numerous discussions over the tagging system, the system is in place! Yay __vam Vammers!
Here's all the information you as reader, author, or tag volunteer will need to know about the Tag System.
First, The Available Tags & Their Definitions, Plus the Fic Rating System
!affiliates - posts that contain an official affiliate in a !modpost
!betas - posts that contain beta information and contact info
!communityinfo - posts that contain any news about the community or its members/ship or community rules
!contactmods - posts that contain mod contact information
!contests - posts that deal with any contest info, contest entries, layout contests, contest results
!modpost - any and all posts made by a mod of this community
!postinginfo - posts that contain info about how to post, how to tag, what is not allowed in posts, rules
!request - posts that request something-picture, beta, polls, etc. This is not to request a fic or fic title or author. See “fic:search” tag.
1000+ - every post that celebrates 1000 added members
*** For author tags, each post of any created vam item (fic, art, vid, mix, etc) must have an author attached to it.
Author is decided by user’s first letter in their username (not their real name).
For multiple authors, attached multiple tags (ex. users with usernames “Susie” and “Josie” are tagged “author:s, author:j”).

fic:ville/oc - fics that have Ville and an Original Character in a relationshipgenre:adaptation - a fic with a storyline that is an adaptation of a book, movie, comic, etc. [Ex. Bam and Ville in “Titanic” where Bam is Jack and Ville is Rose.]
genre:angst - A genre which the stories usually have heavy and sometimes depressing themes, and have the characters suffering emotionally (and sometimes physically) in some way. Relationship break up, character death, hurt and comfort are all forms of angst stories.
genre:au - Alternate Universe: means the world (universe) is different. The physics, geography, technology etc. are different, e.g. no magic in Harry Potter. Popular in this category are HS (high school) and college fan fictions, where the canon characters are written as students in real world's school. [Ex. Bam and Ville are teenage runaways living in Australia.]
genre:comedy - a fic with a storyline that is humor-oriented
genre:crossover - a fic with a storyline that is crossed over with another fandom. [Ex. Bam and Ville end up in a CSI:NY episode and help Mac and Stella solve the murder of Novak.]
genre:drabble - fics that are “drabbles” or extremely short in word count
genre:family - a fic with a storyline that has Bam and Ville in a family situation with children (not by mpreg)
genre:fetish - a fic with a storyline that has a fetish as its central theme
genre:fluff - A genre in which the story is devoid of angst and takes on a mood of light-hearted romance.
genre:horror - a fic with a storyline that is horror/thriller-oriented or that contains creatures like vampires, werewolves, monsters [for ghosts, angels, fairies, mermaids, etc, see “genre:supernatural”]
genre:mpreg - a fic with a storyline that has Bam and Ville in a family situation with children by mpreg, or male pregnancy [for non-mpreg family, see “genre:family”]
genre:mystery - a fic with a storyline that is a mystery
genre:non-con - a fic with a storyline that has a non-consensual relationship/situation
genre:pwp/smut - a fic with a storyline that is “porn without plot” or smut, just sex
genre:songfic - a fic with a storyline that contains song lyrics, or a fic that is inspired by a song meme or song drabble meme
genre:supernatural - a fic with a storyline that is supernatural-oriented or contains creatures like ghosts, angels, fairies, mermaids, etc. [for vampires, werewolves, monsters, etc, see “genre:horror”]news:bam - for all news stories about Bam, Bam’s Family/Friends, Jackass, Viva La Bam, Viva La Bands, etc
news:vam - for all news stories about Bam and Ville [appearances/sightings/magazine articles, etc]

rating:g - General audience, appropriate for all ages. Therefore, no violence, nudity, any sensual/sexual activity, drug and/or alcohol use, and language beyond polite conversation are allowed under this rating.
rating:pg - Parental guidance is suggested for readers age 12 and under. Stories in this category may contain very mild language, limited concepts of violence.
rating:pg-13 - Parental guidance is advised for readers age 12 and under. Stories in this category may contain moderate language and more advanced themes of violence, themes of sensuality or sexuality, and other similar content including brief or implied nudity of a non-sexual nature, and drug/alcohol use by adults.
rating:r - Parental warning of adult themes and content. Stories in this category may contain strong language including some profanity of a sexual nature, advanced themes of violence, advanced sensual or sexual situations, implied sexual activity, drug and/or alcohol use or abuse by adults, and other similar content. [As it is fairly easy to confuse this rating with NC-17, note that R-rated stories cannot include excessive profanity of a sexual nature, drug and/or alcohol use by underage characters, and the characters of the story cannot routinely use the "F" word or similar language in conversation. ***BUT since Bam and Ville use profanity like they breathe, it is up to the author’s discretion for what he/she consider “excessive.”***]

Second, How Do I Tag My Post?
For First-Time Posters, this is how:
All posts should contain a tag of some kind pertaining to its content.
Separate your tags by using commas! [Ex. "author:g, rating:nc-17, genre:pwp/smut"]
Fics should have the following tags (minimum!):
- Author tag
- Rating tag
- Genre tag
If you are unsure of how or which tags to include in your post, ASK A MOD! We're here to help you!
Third, I'm a Tag Volunteer. How Do I Tag Back Posts?
For those who have wonderfully volunteered to help with tagging old posts, here's how:
If there are tags on a post that you are tagging, please make sure they are correct. You may have to add additional tags to those already present on the post. (This is highly unlikely, but if you are unsure, send me the link.)
Tag Volunteers should keep a log of some kind (your choice) of what you have tagged and where you stopped tagging by Month, Day, and Year of the last post. This is so that anyone picking up where you left off can do so easily. Please!!! remember to do this. ALSO, please shoot me a message every time you complete a month so that I can mark it off the list.
Tag Volunteers, if you are ever unsure of how to tag a particular entry, send me the link.
If you would like to volunteer to help tag, please comment with your name and how much time you can take!!!
