New fic I thought I might share XD
“Are we there yet?” Burton asked, staring out the plane window and wishing he had brought something to do.
“No!” About seven voices answered him, all sounding annoyed on various levels. The voice loudest and most annoyed in his ear belonged to Linde, who was sitting in the seat next to him reading a book on European castles. Burton twisted around to see his fellow bandmates, Mige and Gas, laughing at the people sitting in the middle aisle. Those people just happened to be Ville Valo and Bam Margera, and Ville’s head just happened to be resting on Bam’s shoulder. Baht were sleeping peacefully, and had been for the past hour and a half.
Brandon Dicamillo and Ryan Dunn sat in front of the pair, DiCo pulling out an air horn from his backpack. He stuck it between the hold in the two seats and honked it loudly, getting annoyed that the two had been sleeping and he couldn’t seem to fall asleep himself. Ville’s head popped off of Bam’s shoulder and the first thing out of his mouth was “Wha’ the fuck?”. Bam shot straight up like a cannon and looked around the airplane.
Burton sank back down into his seat and let his arm rest against Lily’s. Bam had decided to plan a vacation for all of them, including April, Phil, Don Vito, all of HIM, and most of the CKY crew. Why they had agreed to the insane vacation, Burton had no idea, but they did and now he was stuck in between the plane wall and Lily Lazor, who wasn’t paying any attention to him. And heading to a location undisclosed to him at the current time, Bam had refused to tell them where they were going, except that it was hot and to pack a bathing suit.
“At least...” Burton thought as he surveyed the plane for what seemed like the billionth time. “At least we have our own plane.” He couldn’t imagine what would have happened if they had taken a regular flight. Besides Raab standing up when the plane took off and falling on April, and Gas stealing everybody’s free peanuts and got into a slight fight with Mige, who apparently really wanted his, Burton would have no idea what the crew of the airplane had done if they found out Don Vito had dropped his veal scallopini in the cargo area and smeared it all over the floor.
“Are we the-“ Lily’s hand was clamped over Burton’s mouth before he could finish his sentence.
“If you...” He started, turning Burton’s face so he could look him in the eyes. “Ask that *one* more time I swear I will do something you will regret.” Lily held Burton’s gaze for a minute and then dropped his hand. Burton was too surprised to say anything. Linde rarely got annoyed at anything. In fact, he was one of those people who stood back and made comments about the situation. He shrugged to himself and closed his eyes. Maybe sleeping would help the time pass more quickly.
Raab now, on the other hand, was throughly enjoying the plane ride. Because he tended to get hyperactive on trips like these, he was seated right in front of April and Phil, and behind Vito, but he didn’t mind. He amused himself by poking Rake (who was sitting right next to him) in the ribs when he dozed off and throwing salt and pepper packets at Bam and Ville.
Since Raab’s room was right next to Bam’s back in West Chester, he knew of the pari’s late night trysts. But he didn’t mind, they were pretty good about keeping the noise down, and besides, no one else knew (but everyone but April, Phil, and Vito suspected) and Raab loved taunting them about it.
He squirmed in the uncomfortable seat and lifted his backpack from under his seat. He opened it and went through the various items. Rake watched tiredly from the corner. Raab pulled out a comic book, some random crayons from the bottom, a rubber duck he had named Bob, the remote control to his TV (in case the airplane had a TV, he had tried to explain while Bam sighed at him) and a...thong?
Raab quickly stuffed the brightly colored fabric back into his pack while Rake snickered.
“Why, Raab, I didn’t know you wore-“
”I don’t! I don’t know how that got in there!” Rake raised an eyebrow and tugged at his long hair.
“Oh yes, I’m sure...” April shushed them and told them Phil was asleep. Raab sighed and peeled the wrapper off a crayon. Rake went back to his book on chemical reactions.
Four hours passed slowly, everyone was doing their own thing. April was reading a book on Laura Ashley and Phil was sleeping. Don Vito was snoring so loud that the stewardess came back to see if everything was alright. Raab had finished peeling all of his crayons and started shredding them down into little flakes of wax. Rake had gone through six books and was almost done with his seventh. Ville was totally wrapped up in something he was writing, Bam had his headphones cranked to maximum volume so that everyone on the plane could hear what he was listening to. DiCo and Dunn were watching a DVD on a mini-DVD player while across from them Lily was reading and Burton played Gas’ gameboy. And last, Mige and Gas were in a fearsome debate on whether American McDonald’s were better than European McDonald’s.
Finally, the plane lurched, signaling that the descent had finally begun. Everyone was relieved and started to pack up their stuff. Items were returned and by the time the plane hit the ground, everyone was jumpy and ready to go, except for Vito, who was just waking up.
Bam was the first off the plane, the sun was bright and hot. Ville was close behind him, and stretched while yawning. He went over to Bam and put his arm around his shoulders. He sensed humidity in the air and smelled salt water. About two hours before they landed Rake informed everyone they were over water.
Soon, everyone was off the plane and two shiny SUV’s pulled up. The drivers loaded everyone’s luggage in and on top of the cars, and then the large group split up and were about to pile into the cars when Bam cleared his throat.
“Hey guys, we’re here! We’ve got about another 30 to 40 minute drive and on the way, I think you’ll figure out where the hell we are.” His little speech was taken with raised eyebrows, grins, and a certain person getting so excited he ran around the car once and ran into the large bulky driver (three guesses who).
Bam ended up in the 2nd car squished in the back between Burton and Dunn. April was in the front seat, and Lily, Mige, and Ville were crammed in the middle.
Bam sighed and relaxed. They were finally her, on vacation where no media could find them. A smile played across his lips as he watched Ville and Mige immediately get into a argument in Finnish, but a good natured one. He was happy where he was and nothing was going to stop it.
“Are we there yet?” Bam’s smile faded and he let his head bang against the window. This was going to be a long drive...
