Anways...

Until finally, he felt whatever it was was right next to him, scathingly whispering loudly into his ear.

"Poistaa."

I got total goosebumps there. Honestly. I actually shivered a bit, that's how creepy that part was.

And oh my god....

He heard his friends questioning him, questioning the sudden look on his face, but he didn't care. Without another thought he pressed select to open the message. It wasn't blank this time.

"My ears hurt. I can hardly hear."

There are actual tears in my eyes. Just...fuck. What can I even say to that? I'm always left completely stunned after I read this story and this chapter was no exception. Everything you write is so...haunting. I don't really know how to describe it. And yes, it came out more than alright. It was perfect, even if it did leave me feeling sort of numb from the shock.
