“The auditions are in a month” She ran into the living room, once again embracing her handsome child, stroking his soft locks as she kissed his cheeks lovingly.
Anita never seemed to care that her oldest son was now a man. She still rocked him while he cried onto her shoulder, still sung to him when he couldn’t sleep and still did pretty much everything a mother would do for a 5 year old child.
“I don’t know if it’s a good idea, Mama” Ville sniffed into his mother’s shoulder. He didn’t know how he could live without the scent of his mother’s clothes. She always smelt of lavender, yet she wore perfumes that smelt like roses and used citrus fabric softener.
His main scent was cigarettes. Always the same smell, he always wondered why he could not have a specific scent like his mother.
“VeeVee, you have the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard. You remind me of my own mother with your voice, so soft and sweet. I don’t know why you would think differently” She wiped a stray tear from the young man’s emerald orbs, shushing him softly as he began to cry silently, only the sounds of sniffing being an indication that he was crying.
“All you can do is give it your best shot” She spoke to him as if he was fragile, almost as if she had spoken louder, he would have shattered into a million pieces.
“Okay, Mama, I’ll try, just for you” He smiled when his mother pushed his shoulders for him to look at her. With one last kiss on the cheek, he started to walk out of the room, towards his bedroom to listen to KISS, he was sure that it would cheer him up, it always did.
When the young man thought of it, it all boiled down to his love for KISS and Black Sabbath. If it wasn’t for those bands, he wouldn’t have started a small band with Mikko and Mikko, Ville being the singer, much to his dismay.

Downstairs sat Ville’s mother, silently grinning as she heard he oldest son sing along to ‘Crazy Nights’ by KISS, thinking to herself as she heard the perfect, deep tone of Ville’s voice, singing over the music.
The music suddenly stopped, making Anita wake up from the trance she was in. Soon the sounds of an acoustic guitar played from upstairs, a little muffled by the roof in between them.
“Oh girl we are the same….”
From that moment on, the women sat on the couch, tears slipping from her beautiful eyes, knew that her son would make it all the way. She didn’t make him audition for the fame or attention, nor to prove he could sing, but to show how much faith she had in her eldest son, and that she would be with him no matter what happened.
[[short, I know but it's a chapter nonetheless, I'll try to get my next update a little long, well, I say a little xD Please leave nice comments for when I return from work ^_^ Love Kimmi xxx]]]
