Title: Patient Forgiveness
Author: myforgottenpain
Rating: R for content
Pairing: Vam all the way!
Summary: When Bam and Ville finally are given a chance to be together, will they be able to make the life they always wanted?
Disclaimer: I don’t own anything connected to HIM, Ville Valo, or Bam Margera. Nor do I imply that in reality they are anything but friends. I, however, could not pass up a great idea for a fan fiction!
Warnings: Angsty in the beginning, but it will get better! I swear!
Authors Notes: I'm still pulling this story together, so hopefully it will work well with me posting it before its done. I've only rewritten this story like... eight times...
This chapter introduces an original character of mine. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed developing it in the later chapters. :D I was very nervous about this one because I wasn't sure how people would take to it.
“This is the life.” Bam mumbled happily, lounging in bed with Ville, neither dressed after another round of love making.
“I agree.” Their laughter was interrupted when they heard their door bell ring. Ville sat up, as did Bam. “Did you just hear something?”
“Noooo…” Bam said softly, hoping Ville was up for ignoring whatever it was, which he wasn’t.
“I should see who that is.” Ville said, crawling out of bed and pulling on his pants.
“Do you have too?” Bam asked while sprawling across the bed, frowning at the older man.
Ville chuckled, “Yes I do…I’ll be back in your arms before you know it.”
Bam pouted more, “You better.”
Ville hurried downstairs, checking through the peep hole to see who it was before he opened the door. What he saw there started him. “Katri?!” He cried as he yanked the door open.
“Ville!” The woman on the other side exclaimed as they embraced. “So you have been shaking up here in Spain.” She said in Finnish before walking into the building. “And by the looks of you, you’ve been quite busy.” She teased when she noticed the numerous love bites and other signs of sex written all over Ville’s body. “Someone likes it rough.”
“What are you doing here? I thought you were in Thailand?” Ville asked as he closed the door, grinning as he listened to what she had to say.
“I was for a while and then I went to India, Sri Lanka to be exact.” Katri said with a smile, turning to the staircase when she heard Bam coming down them. She turned and grinned at Ville, “Is that who I think it is?”
“Maybe.” Ville said with a slight smirk as he walked over to the stairs with Katri. "I don't think you two have actually met yet."
Bam stopped at the bottom of the stairs and smiled brightly, “You! Oh my god!” He held out his arms and hugged her. “I thought we would never get to meet. I’ve heard of you like some sort of mystical patron saint. I’ve come to think you didn’t really exist outside of some kind of family folklore.”
Katri chuckled, “No, no… I’m very real despite how much some people wish I didn’t.” Katri frowned softly for a moment.
“Papa doesn’t mean to act…” Ville started.
“I know Ville… We’ve had this talk more than once.” Katri cut him off, smiling softly at her brother.
“God I see how much you two look a like now.” Bam commented, finally seeing them both standing side by side in real life, also hoping to side track the conversation.
Bam was referring to the fact that Katri was Ville’s twin sister. Ville didn’t talk about her in the press since she had asked him not too. While she had always supported both her brothers in whatever they felt passionate about, she wanted to stay out of the lime light. She preferred to travel the world, picking up work were she could and living in youth hostels along the way.
There was in fact a reason why, there were eight years between Ville and Jesse.
Katri was not as tall as Ville was, but even without her heels on she was an inch or two taller than Bam. She was slender like her brother and had the same bright intense green eyes as him. When she smiled, it bore a striking resemblance to Ville’s; her hair was long auburn and curly, pilled in a sloppy bun.
“Yeah it happens when you’re twins.” Katri brushed off casually. “So are you going to introduce us?” She asked, indicating to Bam. “Well formally since I know who this is, just not how you two have been labeling your friendship.” She smiled at her twin, wrinkling her nose, “By the state of him I have a pretty good idea.”
Ville chuckled, “Katariina Valo…” Ville started.
“Ville was the only one worthy of a middle name.” Katri teased, causing Bam to chuckle.
“This is Bam.” Ville continued, ignoring what she said. “My boyfriend… lover… life partner…”
Bam chuckled, “It’s a pleasure to meet you finally.”
Katri hugged Bam, “It’s a pleasure to meet you too.” She looked Bam over and then turned her gaze to Ville. “He is much cuter in person; I see why you stuck by him for so long.”
“Yes because personality has nothing to do with it. All that counts is if I look good…” Bam teased as they walked into the living room.
Katri chuckled, “I’m well aware of your wonderful personality Bam. I have heard so much about it.”
“He does… he was worth every minuet of waiting. Patience is a virtue Katri… blessed to some but not us all.” Ville said, chuckling when Katri smacked him in the stomach.
“I take it you’re not a patient person?” Bam asked, indicating to the couch for her to sit down.
“I have been known to… be a bit hasty…” Katri said with a smile, pulling her shoes off before flopping down on the couch.
“Hasty is light compared to my lovely little sister.” Ville said, sitting on the other end of the couch.
“My kind of brash or another level?” Bam asked, stepping over Ville so he could sit sideways between Ville and Katri, leaning back against Ville.
“A little of both.” Ville answered, “She jumped from Thailand, to Sir Lanka, to here in Spain.”
Katri smiled, “I came here because of Jesse.”
“Jesse?” Ville asked, running his fingers through Bam’s hair. He did it without even realizing it, so use to it that he didn’t even pay attention to the look of contentment on Bam’s face because of it.
Katri brought her hand to her mouth as she started laughing.
Ville raised one eyebrow and tipped his head to the side, “What’s so funny?”
“It’s Bam… he looks like he’s… a cat or something. Like he might start purring…” Katri explained, laughing more as she indicated to the skater.
Ville looked to Bam who was pressed against his hand, smiling blissfully. The sight caused him to laugh too. “You are shameless…”
“When it comes to loving you.” Bam finished, looking at Ville with a goofy smile.
Ville shook his head, wrapping his arm around Bam. “You were saying something about Jesse?”
Katri slowly stopped laughing and nodded, “Yes… he told me about what happened. I’m… I’m so sorry that I wasn’t there.” Her smile faded a little as Ville waved her off.
“It’s alright… we’ve dealt with that.” Ville said, looking to Bam with a smile who returned it.
“We’re alright now… it’s taken some time. But basking in the beauty of Spain has really helped.” Bam said, grinning at Ville. “Oh and Ville might have helped… a little.”
Ville chuckled, leaning in to kiss Bam.
Katri smiled, pulling her legs close, “Well I’m glad to hear that.”
“Are you staying here for a while? It would be nice to spend some time with you.” Ville said, which Bam agreed with.
“I would like too…if it’s not too much to ask of.” Katri paused and drew in her bottom lip.
“What is it Katri?” Ville asked, leaning a little closer, with a visible look of concern on his face.
“Well…” She started, sitting up a little, poking at a set off gold anklet bracelets. “I was doing some thinking on the way over here.”
“Please tell me you didn’t hitch hike.” Ville said.
Katri mildly glared at her brother. “Did you smoke something while you were up there?”
“Well actually…” Bam started until Ville covered his mouth with his hand, causing Katri and Bam to chuckle.
“No I did not.” Katri said, adjusting the way she was sitting. “Ever concerned big brother of mine.”
“Please continue, precious and only little sister of mine.” Ville said.
“I’m not saying it has to happen today, tomorrow, or even next year. I’m sure the pain is still fresh even though it’s been a few months now. But…” Katri started, her fingers playing with the single charm on her bracelets.
“But what?” Bam asked, sitting up with Ville, sharing in his lovers worry.
“If you wanted to try and have a… baby again… I would help you.” Katri said, peeking at the other men.
Ville and Bam stared at her in a dumbfounded manner. “Katariina… do you have any idea what you’re offering?” Ville asked in a gentle tone.
Katri nodded, “A chance to have a family?”
Bam felt a mixture of joy and apprehension fill him. “We can’t ask this of you.”
“So you want too?” Katri said, sitting up as she released her bracelet.
“Katri…” Ville said as he moved out from behind his boyfriend. “Why are you doing this?”
Katri looked down for a moment and then back to her brother. “I want to help you. And think of it!” Her eyes got a little wider since she was getting excited about defending her point. “You can’t get closer to having a baby together unless Ville grows a womb.”
“How did you know?” Bam asked, looking between Katri and Ville.
“I know my brother.” Katri said quickly, brushing away a few hairs that were brushing her cheek. “Think about it…it will be a child that came from both of you… in a way.”
Ville and Bam sat there for a moment, both silently thinking it over. Even after they looked to one another, they remained quiet for a while. “Ville…” Bam started, peeking between the twins. “I would really like to do this.”
Ville peeked at his sister, who smiled at him. “I would too.”
Katri moved closer to them, “I’m healthy, safe, and trust worthy. I really want to help.”
“We need to talk about this alright?” Ville said, taking Bam’s hand as he stood up. Bam automatically got to his feet as well, following Ville out of the room.
Katri nodded, watching as her brother and Bam left the room.
“Ville…” Bam said softly once they were out on the back patio. He went quiet when Ville crossed his arms. Gently he touched the older man on his arms.
“There is a part of me…” Ville started finally, his throat tense. “That immediately wants to say yes. I want to so badly Bam.”
“Ok.” Bam said softly, reserving his opinion until Ville had said everything he wanted to say.
“But… I feel so bad asking this of my sister.” Ville added.
Bam nodded, following Ville when he started walking around.
“Is it fair to ask this of her? It’s not a simple matter.” Ville continued to say, not really looking at Bam or thinking about anything specifically.
Bam nodded and continued to listen to Ville, his arms holding himself.
“There are so many things that could go wrong. What if we lost the baby again? What if we lost Katri?” Ville asked as he ran his hands through his hair.
Bam opened his mouth like he was going to say something, but didn’t.
“But…” Ville stopped with his shoulders slightly hunched. “I really want a baby Bam.”
Bam nodded, walking over to Ville, pulling him close. “Me too.”
Ville looked at the skater, both shedding tears. “I really want to have a baby with you Bam.”
Bam nodded again, “Me too Ville.”
“And it could be a part of both of us then. Like our own baby.” Ville added, wrapping his arms around Bam, holding him close.
“Is it selfish of me to say I really want to go in there and beg your sister to do this for us?” Bam asked.
“No more selfish of you than me wanting to do it.” Ville said.
They held onto each other for a moment or two, shedding silent tears of confusion over what they should do. That was until they heard the door open. They turned and looked at Katri who was peeking at them.
“Is everything alright?” She asked softly then much in the same manner Ville had, she continued before they could speak. “Fuck…I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have dropped this on you guys like this. I’m so sorry…” She hurried over to them. “I should have waited or something. I walk through the door and was like, hi I’m Katri let’s make a baby together! I’m such an idiot.”
Ville and Bam smiled and slowly released each other. Ville walked over to his sister, pulling her close and hugging her. “You are not an idiot. You are one of the most compassionate people I know. You’ve honored us with this offer.” He paused to look at her before inviting Bam into the hug.
Bam smiled and hopped the short distance over to the twins and hugged them both, causing them to laugh. “I think it’s safe to say for both of us…” He paused to gaze at Ville directly, who nodded in approval. “We would be eternally grateful if you would do this for us.”
Katri beamed, “Well whenever you want to do it, just let me know. I have no job, no responsibilities and an insane erg to help you two have a baby.”
“An insane erg?” Bam asked.
“Yeah I can’t explain it. I can’t get it out of my head. I have this drive to do this, to be here, to help you. It just feels like where I should be right now.” Katri said.
“Well these things can take some time.” Ville said, looking between Bam and Katri. “Maybe we should start now. Well after we talk to April and Phil.”
“Are you going to talk to momma and poppa?” Katri asked carefully.
Ville looked down and shrugged, “I don’t know.”
Bam ran his hand up Ville’s arm, smiling at him when their eyes met. He opened his mouth to say something, but stopped when the phone rang. “I’ll be back.” He jogged into the house and just made it to the phone before the answering machine picked up. “Hello?”
“Hi honey. It’s mom…I was just wondering if everything was alright with you two…. Anything exciting happen?”
Bam looked back at Katri and Ville, “Umm…yeah…actually something exciting did happen.”
