[Mod post] Reiteration.
There's recently been a rash of violations on here. Some have been warned and allowed to edit posts... some have simply had their entries deleted.
I'd like to reiterate a few of the rules that I notice being ignored lately.
And I quote:
We insist that these rules be followed. We expect all members of the community to have a basic knowledge of what they can and cannot post.
WE INSIST THAT EVERY NEW MEMBER READS THESE RULES.
There will we no allowances made for anybody who has not taken the time to follow these.
In an attempt to keep the community on topic and in control, we, the moderators, suggest strict adherence to the rules above. Dissention will not be tolerated, mercy will not be given, no matter the circumstances. We reserve the right to delete any post or comment we see fit to.

1 - We like things to look neat. We do not insist that users follow this guide, but we do strongly recommend it. It details everything you need in your post, and helps keep everything neat and tidy. So we ask you, nicely, to use it.
Title: The most important bit. Everything needs a title, so please make sure you have one. This is also where you can put what chapter it is.
Author: This is where you put your LJ name. For example: strangelyshaded.
Pairing: We obviously know the main pairing is going to be Vam, but please put any other pairing in here as well.
Rating: Unsure of ratings? Go HERE.
Summary: We cannot stress how important a summary is. This is what is going to draw readers into your story. Please don't just put "I suck at summarys, lol". You need to put a brief, concise paragraph about the basic plot of your story.
Disclaimer: Covering your own ass.
Warnings: This is optional, but recommended. This is for things like MPREG, drug use, rape. Anything that may squick. If your story has no warnings, skip it.
Authors Notes: Also optional, but this is where you can add any of your own notes. Also a good place to thank your beta!
And use an LJ cut!
2 - If you think we'll delete it, don't post it.
If you have to put "I'm not sure if this is allowed… Mods delete if it isn't…" on a post, chances are it will be deleted. Please, just save us all the time and energy and don't post it.
3 - Don't Steal from us
The graphics, rules, and terms were created by the moderators unless otherwise mentioned. Please don't steal from us. If you use anything created by anyone in this community you MUST credit the creator. We did this for you guys and it's just plain bitchy to pimp it as your own. Any story or written work is the sole property of the author. Plagiarism is wrong and will not be tolerated in any way, shape or size. If your work has been plagiarized, please please contact the moderators and the situation will be dealt with.
4 - For the kids
R and NC-17 rated content is permitted. However, in accordance with LJ's policies, we must insist that all adult-orientated material is placed behind a clearly marked LJ-cut, and that a warning is clearly placed on the post. Posts containing adult-rated material - above a PG-13 - must be friendlocked!. Adult-orientated posts without friendlocks will be deleted without prior warning. Short of enforcing moderated membership and removing all under-aged members from the community, we must ask that all members under the age of 15 refrain from reading or posting adult-orientated material (which, in English, means smut or sex scenes). We will not take responsibility for anyone under the age of 15 caught reading, writing or posting smut.
Without seeming bitchy... all I can say is: READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING.
