Bam clutched the large fish, dangling it by his side, receiving a few strange glares from people passing by. He and Dunn walked to the the meeting place in the centre of the park, their evil teenage minds spinning with pranks to pull on Bam's uncle, Vito.

Bam easily spotted the deep red hoodie and dark red jeans that made Dico's usual outfit. He edged closer carefully, seizing this golden opportunity. He raised the fish above his head, trying to block out the terrible smell, and brought it crashing down on the hooded head, sending small scales flying everywhere like little pieces confetti.

Laughter erupted from Bam as he turned back to Dunn. However he quietened down, realising his friend was staring behind Bam with a look of horror on his face. "What?"

"Um...Bam Bam," Dunn stuttered. "That's not Dico."

Bam looked and gasped when he saw that the hood had fallen down to reveal a thick, dark hair, nothing like Dico's light brown wisps. "Ah shit."

He stepped forwards and gingerly and brushed some of the scales off the man's shoulders. "I'm so sorry dude."

The young man looked up and jade green eyes were revealed from behind the curtain of hair, twinkling in the sunlight. Bam felt heat spread through his cheeks and a lump form in his throat and he began to ramble, something he couldn't remember doing before. "I am so sorry man, I didn't mean to hit you...Well I did but not you you 'cause I thought you were my friend Dico, but obviously you aren't..."

The man spoke in a thick accent. "It's OK, don't worry about it."

"I'm so sorry."

"It's alright," he said with a smile. With that he turned and walked away.

Bam stared after him, his head spinning with confusion over what had just happened. Dunn took a step beside him and spoke, "Close call buddy."

He threw his head back and began to laugh, suddenly cheerful again after the fear of getting their asses kicked. "You should have seen your face! I think you were actually blushing! That's insane dude!"

However, Bam was not listening. He was staring after the man, not looking away until his lanky form had disappeared from view. He wondered who he was, where he was from, and most of all he wondered why the man had caused him to act like that.

Dunn slapped him on the back. "Come on then, let's find the real Dico and get to Vito's; we've got work  to do."

Author's Notes: I know it's really short and rubbish but the next chapters will be longer, I promise. Feel free to leave a comment =]
