Title: Insomnia
Author: heartagramrose
Pairings: Vam, plus slight Jussi69/Ville
Rating: pretty PG-13 this chapter.
Disclaimer: Don’t Know, Don’t Own, Never Happened, Don’t Sue.
Author's Notes: I'm informally calling this one "Chapter 12.5" because it's too fucking short. *slides down in chair out of shame*
I do apologize for the cliffhanger at the end of the last chapter, and the long wait, once again. I also regret that this one is so damn short...I kinda wrote it down in my notebook (bad idea) and then lost it and could only remember half of the detail, so...*hides in a bomb shelter*
*peeks head out* P.S.: reunion is next chapter (finally! >.<) and it WILL be a much much longer chapter.

12 Ville pulled away violently from Jussi and turned his head away to avoid looking at him. Jussi stayed close to him, with his hand on the wall beside Ville’s head to support himself.
“Please don’t,” Ville said quietly, refusing to meet the drummer’s eyes even when he spoke.
“It hurts to see you with him, Ville,” Jussi said, just as quiet. “Don’t you understand that?”
Ville looked back at Jussi, and forced himself to look Jussi in the eyes. He could see the truth in Jussi’s eyes and could only think of one thing to say.
“I’m sorry,” he apologized.
“No, you’re not,” Jussi caught him in his act of courtesy. He gave a small smile. “I won’t cause any more trouble. I swear. But…if little Bam-Bam screws you over, you know where to find me, hmm?”
Ville didn’t answer, and after a few minutes Jussi pushed himself away from the wall and went back inside, leaving Ville to lean the back of his head against the wall. He closed his eyes tightly for a couple seconds before lighting another cigarette and inhaling deeply, not sure if he was madder at Jussi for kissing him or for making him waste a smoke.
Just as Ville tapped the last few ashes of his cigarette onto the sidewalk, the doors to the restaurant opened again to reveal Migé.
“There you are,” Migé said, frowning at Ville. “What the hell were you doing out here all this time?”
“Smoking and talking to Bam,” Ville replied, deliberately leaving out the part about Jussi. He flicked the last bit of the cigarette onto the ground and stepped on it with his shoe. “Why?”
“You’ve been gone a while. The guys sent me to go find you.”
Ville nodded and stood straight. “Well, let’s go back inside, then, shall we?”
Migé gave Ville a suspicious look but nodded anyway and followed him back inside. When they sat back down at the table a couple of seconds of silent took over as people looked over. When Ville ignored them, they quickly picked up their own conversations quickly. As for him, he and Migé eventually fell into their own conversation; Ville made a conscious effort to avoid the subjects of both Bam and Jussi.
Bam went through the next day with a smile on his face, anticipating his flight that night. They decided to spend the day in LA, shopping and doing whatever they decided to do on a whim. Around noon, they were walking down one of the side streets of the city and Bam turned his head to the side to answer a question Ryan had asked him, when a glint in a store window caught his eye.
He stopped in his tracks, mid-sentence, and gravitated towards the window he’d seen it in.
“Bam?” Jess asked, backtracking to stand behind his brother and peering over Bam’s shoulder to see what he was looking at. “Seriously?”
Bam grinned and turned to face Jess. “Seriously, Jess-Jess,” he replied and hurried into the store.
When Ville and Mige left the dinner later that night, opting to not go to the bar as the others were, Mige had had enough of Ville's acting weird.
"What the fuck is going on?" he finally asked as they headed towards Ville's apartment.
"What?"
"Don't play stupid. It doesn't suit you at all," Mige warned. "You're acting weird."
Ville rolled his eyes. "Remember when me and Jussi used to...you know?" he waited until Mige nodded before he continued. "He kissed me."
"Why the fuck...?"
Ville laughed. "Oh thank you. Why the fuck would anyone want to kiss me? Thanks so much, Mige."
Mige laughed along with him. "Well, you'll be back with Bam soon, so it'll all be good."
Ville grinned and focused on thoughts of Bam for the rest of the night, making sure they were purely innocent until it came time to part ways with Mige.
