Ville looked up at Bam and smiled. The skater made him so happy and yet, somehow he felt Bam already knew. The singer stood up and let go of Bam’s hand. He placed it beside the skater and smiled softly. Even with all the wires going this way and that over the skater, he still looked incredibly beautiful. Ville walked over to the window and looked outside. The warmth of the sun felt good on his skin compared to the cold loneliness of the hospital. He touched the cool glass of the window and sighed. The singer’s heart was aching to hear Bam’s sweet voice again. Oh, how he wanted to be held in those strong arms and have words of sweet nothingness whispered into his ear. He leaned against the wall and felt his knees give way as he fell to the floor. He curled up and placed his head onto his knees. The green eyed beauty sobbed into his knees and sighed. Ville didn’t really want to worry Bam with his tears. He heard a sniffle and looked up. The singer got up and walked over to Bam’s bed to see small tears welled up in the skater’s eyes.
“Bammie, why are you crying?” Ville sat down in the chair beside Bam’s bed. He stroked the skater’s hair gently.
“Because, I heard you crying. I feel terrible because I can’t do anything about it.” The sapphire eyes looked into the emerald ones. Ville outstretched a slender finger and wiped away the tears from Bam’s eyes. The singer sighed and looked down at his knees. He pulled his hand away from Bam’s face and felt his hand be grasped by Bam’s.
“Bam…you’re with Jussi. I can’t get in the way of that.” Ville looked off to the white wall of the hospital room and felt Bam’s grip get tighter on his hand.
“Ville, it wasn’t supposed to happen between us. I didn’t even see Jussi as I did what I did with him. I saw someone else in my head.” The skater turned his head just enough to see the profile of the singer.
“Then, who were you…?” The singer looked back at Bam and sighed.
“Well, would you like me to lie to you or tell you the truth?” The skater sighed and loosened his grip a bit on the Finn’s hand.
“Tell me the truth, Bam.” Ville sighed and looked away, not wanting to hear the truth for fear it might hurt him.
“When Jussi and I were having ‘fun’ I wasn’t imagining him. I was envisioning you. Ville, I’ve loved you since I met you all those years ago. I set eyes on you and I just felt my heart melt into a pile of goo in my chest.” Bam sighed and felt a hot tear roll down his cheek. A cool hand met that hot tear and wiped it away.
“Bam, I love you too. When you came into my life I knew right away you were someone special. You saved me from a horrid life I could never leave. I’ve always felt like…it was meant to happen. My life is so much better because of you. I truly got an angel.” The singer smiled softly and looked at Bam.
“Ville, would you…kiss me?” The skater spoke very sheepishly.
“I’d love to.” The singer leaned down and kissed the skater’s soft lips. The tender pink flesh felt like satin against his own. He smiled into the kiss and sat back up when he heard someone coughing at the door.
“Oh, hello Jussi.” Ville looked up and blushed slightly as he pulled away from Bam. The drummer walked over to the singer and took the seat next to him. His chains and necklaces made all sorts of noises as he sat down. The other Finn looked over to the blushing Ville and just smiled.
“Took you two nimrods long enough. Oh and Bam, the docs say if you keep improving you’ll be released in a few days.” Jussi crossed his right leg over his left and yawned.
“By the way Bam, your mother knows about you being gay. She figured it out when you brought Ville home. She was telling me in the car about it. Your mom also wants to know when you and Ville are gonna be dating. She says that she’s been waiting since you were sixteen.” Jussi kept rambling on and finally was shut up by Ville placing a hand over his mouth.
“I never doubted Ape didn’t know. I always had a feeling she knew. Ape would always look at me funny and I’d never know why. One night when I was like…eighteen she came into my room. I was sitting there playing this game on the computer and she asked me if there was anything I wanted to tell her. I asked her like what? Ape was like I dunno you just seem to always be hiding in here. I was like yeah, it’s my room after all. She said Bam; I found those pictures of Ville on your computer. The ones of him barely covered. What are those for? I got really nervous at this point and said school project. I never thought she quite believed me.” Bam coughed slightly and turned his head back to look at the ceiling. Ville stroked the skater’s hair gently.
“You’re father on the other hand is in denial.” Jussi pushed some hair out of his eyes and laughed slightly.
“Well, you tell me a day when he’s not. I’ll pay you a million bucks.” Bam laughed slightly and then ended up coughing again.
“True, anyways. I just came to tell you that. Oh and, your mom and dad are on their way. They got worried about you and Ville. Your mom thought you two would end up having sex on the hospital bed.” Jussi laughed while Ville and bam both blushed bright red.
“How’d you get here then Jussi?” Ville looked at the drummer with confusion spread across his face.
“How else? Motorcycle.” He grinned and looked at Ville.
“Um, who’s?” Bam moaned out in pain slightly and felt Ville grab his hand in a panic.
“Who else’s? Bam, yours was the only one at the house. So I took it. I promise I’ll fill it up with gas later.” He yawned slightly and messed with his hair more.
“You mean to tell me, you took my custom built bike. With its custom paintjob and custom helmet…and drove it here!” Bam nearly shouted and the heart monitor jumped up and made a very loud beep.
“Umm, yeah. I didn’t want to drive that clunky Hummer. Besides, someone as sexy as me should be able to drive something as sexy as that bike.” Jussi grinned just as Bam’s parents came walking in.
“Hi Mr. and Mrs. Margera.” Ville smiled softly as Bam’s parent’s sat down on the other side of Bam. Ville quickly let go of Bam’s hand when Phil gave him a glare. He looked down at his worn chucks sheepishly and blushing. Bam sighed and turned his gaze to the ceiling again.
“Hello Ville. Hello Jussi.” April smiled softly and touched Phil’s hand. She looked at Bam and shook her head. Bam sighed and sniffed slightly.
“Ape, are you wearing perfume?” The skater wrinkled his nose slightly. The perfume smelled like dying roses and skunks.
“Yes, Bam I am wearing perfume. Phil got it for me.” She smiled softly and looked at the blushing singer. Ville blushed a bit deeper when he felt April’s eyes on him. Jussi coughed slightly and looked at April.
“Well, Ville, wanna go grab a smoke with me?” Jussi stood up and watched as Ville got up extremely quickly. They both walked out of the hospital to the smoking area and sat down. Jussi handed Ville a cigarette and lit it for the singer. He took one for himself and lit it.
“Must be hard…” Ville looked at Jussi who had put his feet up on a small statue. The drummer looked so bored and washed out. Ville knew he didn’t look that great either.
“What?” The singer took a long drag from his cigarette and released the smoke in a very sexy like fashion.
“Seeing Bam like that.” Jussi looked at the chipping polish on his right hand and sighed. Ville brushed a bit of hair off his shoulder and looked out to the parking lot.
“It really is. You have no idea how hard it is to see him like that. What’s really hard though is when April is staring at you like she knows your secrets.” Ville and Jussi both chuckled slightly and then sighed.
“Ville?” Jussi looked at Ville and had a bit of blush on his cheeks.
“Yeah, what’s up Jussi?” Ville took another drag of his cigarette and let out the smoke in the direction of the parking lot.
“Well, do you know if Tony is seeing anyone?” Jussi tugged on his camouflage print jacket and flicked his cigarette away. Ville turned and looked at him. Some of the singer’s hair fell over his shoulder giving him a nearly angelic look.
“As far as I know he’s not. Why do you ask?” Jussi blushed a bit more and looked down at his shoes.
“Well, he and I have been hanging out a lot, right? Well I saw him shirtless while he was skating recently. I felt myself getting all warm and fuzzy inside. I think I might be developing a crush on him.” Jussi sighed and took another cigarette. He lit it up and took a long and heavy drag from it. He sighed releasing all the smoke from his body.
“Then my solution is asking him out.” Ville smiled softly and flicked his cigarette away before getting up.
“I’m gonna go back and be with Bam.” He started to walk back inside and watched as Jussi followed him. He shook his head and walked back to Bam’s room. April and Phil had left and Bam was sleeping. The singer sat down and sighed.
“Ville, I’m gonna head back to the house. I guess I’ll see you later.” Jussi walked out of the room and the singer stroked Bam’s hair softly. He didn’t really want to leave Bam, but he knew he needed to. He got up and managed to catch up to Jussi before he left.
“Jussi, you mind taking me home for a bit?” Ville looked at the drummer who nodded. He handed the singer a helmet and watched Ville hop on. The long slender arms of the singer wrapped around the beautifully sculpted abdomen of the drummer. Jussi sped off towards the house. Ville felt a pang of guilt rip through his stomach for leaving the skater all alone in the hospital. He knew however Bam would understand because he was really in need of a shower and cleaning up.
