Title: Love In Cold Blood
Author: Me
Pairing: Vam
Summary: I don't want to give away too much.. but basically it's a Vampire fic except it's based in the real world so basically the only thing that's really totally unrealistic is the fact that theres vampires. This fic will not be horror, it will have a few mildy scary moments but mostly its oddly romantic.
Disclaimer: I dont own anyone in the story.. um, and this never happened.
Rating: About PG13

http://community.livejournal.com/__vam/3143366.html#cutid1 I shook my head, "I'm not brave, Ville. I just have to accept whats happening...there's no turning back." I sighed and opened my mouth so that my two sharp vampire teeth were visable, "I'm a vampire now."
He nodded with a slight smile, "True. But I hurt you, Bammie...you could have and probably..." he paused, "You would have died if it weren't for Linde and Gas."
"But I didn't, so let's forget about it" I said, looking out towards the window, "We still have to find out who was outside my window earlier."
"Oh, right!" he said in a partly shocked voice, "I forgot.."
"Maybe it was just a squirrel or something running through the leaves." I suggested with a shrug.
He scrunched his nose and shook his head, "No."
"We might never know..." I shrugged again.
He shook his head in agreement, "Maybe not. But if we hear of anyone who's been spreading the words we had spoke, they have to die."
"At least we know it wasn't DiCo..." I muttered.
"I guess." he glared slightly, "I got to go."
I raised an eyebrow, confused, "Where?"
"I have a job, Bammie."
"Already? But you just moved here! And why do you need a job? Ape and Phil pay for food and stuff."
"I'm never very tired so I thought it would be a good idea to get a night job." he shrugged, "And plus that way we can do some things without needing April and Phil's money."
"But you have that money from your parents bank that you didn't have to spend at the hotel." I pointed out, "And what am I supposed to do? I don't go to bed that early."
He placed a hand on my shoulder, "I have to go, Bammie, I don't want to be late on my first day."
I slowly stepped out of bed, afraid my headache would return, "I'm coming with you then."
"You can't!" he rolled his eyes, "They won't allow it."
"They might." I argued, "Besides, where do you work?".
"At a restraunt."
"Which one?"
"It's quite far away from here, you're not ready to fly that far."
"Where is it?"
He let out a sigh, "New York. But you can't come with, your wings arn't strong and fast enough yet."
"Why do you need a job that far away? Won't it take you long to get there?"
He shook his head, "A half hour at the most, I told you, Vampires are much stronger than humans in many ways."
"But why?"
"It's a secret hidden restraunt for Vampires around the united states. I've never been there before of course before I moved here; I went there the day before my first day at your school and they offered me a job saying I'd get free blood and I took the offer right away because I know it's good to have connections in places like that."
"So it's not for the money?"
"Of course I get some money but I figure blood is worth far more." he paused, "I don't think it would be safe for you to come with. Not yet, you havn't been a vampire long enough to stay out of danger."
"But what if I followed you around? Noone could hurt me then."
He smiled slightly, "You're so sweet Bammie, but there's far more powerful vampires than me."
"Please?" I begged, giving him my best cute pouting face.
He laughed and shook his head, "Don't look at me like that!"
I continued to do so and he burst out laughing, "Stop it! Fine! You can come!"
"Really? Cool!" I grinned.
He sighed and wiped a tear from laughing so hard from his eye, "Fine, but only because it's my birthday."
I glared, "You didn't tell me it was your birthday!"
He nodded, "I guess I just forgot..."
"You did not!" I grumbled, "You just didn't want any presents!"
He nodded again, "But Bam, I've already had a present today...too much of a present, but a present none the less." he grinned slightly, "The blood. Your blood."
"That's not enough!"
"You almost died."
"No, I meant that I would have got you more presents!"
He smiled, "Don't worry, Bammie, I don't need any, I already have the best thing in the world."
"What?" I asked.
"You." he smiled, wrapping his arms around me, "You, forever and always."
"I'm still going to buy you something, you know." I laughed and he sighed with a smile, "Fine, Bammie, you do that then."
"You're going to be late for work." I reminded him.
He nodded, "I still think it's a bad idea for you to come with so soon, but ok." he said as he transformed into a bat.
I reached out and grabbed his left wing, "Ok, fly now."
He rolled his little green bat eyes, "Quit messing around."
I grinned and jumped forward, turning into a bat;
We flew out of my bedroom window and I realized something;
"What about Phil and Ape? They'll wonder where we are."
He sighed, "Go write them a note in the kitchen."
"What should I say?"
"I don't know..." he mumbled, "Tell them you're at DiCo's for the night."
"But what if they call his house?"
"Tell them you're at your...um, your uncles house."
I laughed, "No way! You havn't met my uncle! He's crazy!"
"So!"
"They'll never believe it, Vito would kick me out as soon as I walked in."
"Just say you're at a hotel with a hooker!"
I laughed, "Dude, no! I'll just say I'm at Johnny's house studying for a test and you came with. She likes Johnny, so she wouldn't worry and then we could call her in a few hours telling her we have to stay the night."
"Good, now go! I don't want to be late!"
I flew in through a small opening in the kitchen window and glided over to a kitchen drawer and opening it, pulling out a Post It note; I grabbed a pencil into my little bat mouth and flew over to the table; It was very difficult to write as a bat but I knew she wouldn't think anything of it since my writing was always messy.
After writing the note I flew back out the window and Ville sighed, "Finally!"
"You try writing as a bat!"
He smiled and we starting off to New York;
At first it was easy to fly but I realized what Ville meant when he said I wasn't strong or fast enough yet;
"Ville?" I panted.
"Yeah?"
"I'm tired."
He sighed, "I told you that you would be! We're not even half way there yet!"
"Can I ride on your back or something for a bit?"
He nodded, "I could fly faster then because I wouldn't have to wait for you to catch up."
"Thanks" I smiled as I clutched onto him with my little bat hands.
When we had stopped for a moment, I noticed we weren't that far off the ground because a group of teenagers were laughing;
"Look at those bats having sex!"
Ville burst out laughing, "We must look weird right now, you riding on my back."
Ville's laughter must have freaked them out because they backed away, "They're squeaking at us, they might attack!"
Ville and I laughed harder and one of the teenage girls backed farther away, "Don't! Stop it Ted!" she yelled as a boy walked closer to us, his hand in a fist.
"They're just stupid, ugly bats!" he laughed, moving closer to us, "they can stand a little punch!"
"They might have rabbies!" she shouted.
Ville shook me off of his back and launched towards the boy, biting into his hand.
The boy let out a high pitched scream and backed away.
"You have to get rabbies shots now!" the girl cried, running over to the boy.
"But I might not have it, we have to catch that stupid bat to find out! Hand me a bag or something Cindy, quick!"
The girl rushed and emptied some clothes out of a shopping bag she had and handed it to the boy;
"Shit!" I glared and Ville and I quickly flew away, out of his reach.
I laughed, "That was mean."
"They called you stupid and ugly." Ville mumbled in a slightly angry tone.
"Well, we are bats right now."
"Still." he hissed, "now get back onto my back, we don't want to be late."
I did as he said and soon we were going much faster than before.
Before I knew it, we were there.
"You need to get off of my back so we can fit through the small tunnel; That's why humans can never find our restraunt, because only bats can fit through the hole." he explained.
I nodded. I wonder how many secret vampire places there are around the world that humans will never find out about.
We flew through the mile of dark skinny tunnel that led to a small room, barely large enough for five people to stand in with a door.
Ville and I turned back into our normal bodies and I looked over at Ville who was knocking on the door.
"Name?" I heard a voice ask through the door.
"Ville Valo. And my boyfriend Bam Margera."
I smiled and he smiled back, "He's a new Vampire, I work here." he explained.
"Ah, yes." the voice said as the door opened.
I felt bad for the man who opened the door; He must have been old when he got turned into a vampire because he was around seventy and mumbled something about an eternity of arthritus as we entered.
"Thankyou" Ville smiled kindly as we entered the restraunt.
I was shocked by what I saw in the restraunt; It was nothing like I had expected..
